The HOA where we live required us to muzzle our pittie when outdoors on the property even though she has never showed signs of aggression. We wanted something comfortable for her so she can still pant, drink, and sniff around. This muzzle is adjustable for both head and snout sizes so it is a great fit compared to a lot of other muzzles we tried. She was also able to take off many of the other muzzles, but hasn't had any luck taking off this one. Thank you for making this muzzle effective but not restricting.

Way too small for my Great Pyrenees even though XL. So, I ordered another one from a different vendor. Quality was much better (padding, D-ring, etc.), it fit well, and the price was about the same.

Delivered yesterday and used on my lab mix. He's a recent rescue. Initally, he walked well with my shepherd mix. She is the Alpha. He started competing with her and would bark and jump up at the sight of another dog. He's also afraid of cars and tries to get behind me when one drives next to us. I started using another type, but he would paw at out causing it to slip and get loose on his nose. He was much better last night with this new muzzle. I'm hoping I can now keep better control of him and train him to control the bad behaviors. At home, he's the gente giant. He's over 70lbs and gets along well with the other 2 dogs. We also have an older male cocker and they have no problems getting along.

Did not fit as shown. has no chin strap as shown. My 8 month old shep mix had it off in 3 minutes and brought it back to me as though he was saying send it back.......Not worth the effort since I sewed a strap on that made it work. It does stop his excessive (when we are out and about) barking at other dogs.

I really, really wanted to like this as an alternative to other "scary" muzzles when we walk our rescue Pit Bull around Brooklyn. She doesn't need one, but I do it more as an insurance policy for me (and her) when we're out. Our rescue also pulls on the leash a bit, and I've read that leads like this can help with pulling more so than the awful martingale prong collars. I put this on her in our house to get her used to it and had to make a few adjustments because she was easily taking it off. After some trial and error, we found a Velcro setting that appeared to work well and went off on our first walk. Things were fine and she was walking like a dream(!!) until she saw a squirrel and somehow managed to open her mouth and completely get out of the muzzle. This is scary because my leash was attached at the bottom (as in the photo), and now the only thing keeping my dog from running away is the nylon portion around her neck. It all worked out fine, thankfully, but if you are buying a muzzle I would guess it's for a reason, and this doesn't do that job well. If this was held together with something other than Velcro at the nose I think it would be a great design, but strong-jaw dogs are able to get out of this easily if they want to. I'd definitely buy a model with better engineering and a more secure strap at the nose, but until then, this is a very risky purchase for dogs who need a muzzle for safety.

Just got a large for my 66lb pitbull and it doesnt fit. It won't clip around her neck and I have it stretched out all the way. I guess I'll have to try an extra large. Overall looks durable for the price.

I have bought many muzzles for our Cockapoo. He has taken everyone off in less than two mins. He hates to be groomed. He Is very sensitive about his ears and feet being touched. Although he has never bitten anyone I just felt a muzzle would make it more comfortable for the groomer as well as the pet. I’m really glad I decided to try this particular muzzle out. As soon as it arrived I tried it on our dog. He tried for about 5 mins to get it off, he was not able to. His normal 2 day grooming job lasted 30 minutes with this muzzle. I’m so glad I found something that actually works.

I sooo love this muzzle! I’ve already purchased 3 muzzles and they were a nightmare... couldn’t get my dog to like it or wear it without him freaking out. And I know many of you’ll say, “theirs muzzle training for a reasonn?” but many are in situations like me, where you have an aggressive dog or maybe your dog chases/barks at cats, squirrels, eats poop, etc. This muzzle is perfectoo for any of those reasons! Adjust to comfort, or for when first using easily pull the adjustable strap so its not adjusted and let your dog get used to it as you slowly begin to adjust it as you want.

These seem to fit well and do not seem to be uncomfortable for our two dogs. They Fit very well and are fairly adjustable.
