Battle Bites High Protein and Low Carb/Sugar Bar, 12 x 62 g - Cookies and Cream

I'm an intermittent gym-goer, when I do go I can probably be described as the guy with all the gear with no idea. This yo-yo approach to fitness has meant that I have un-intentionally tried and sampled a lot of products such a whey powder, BCAA's, Creatine shake, and protein bars. Usually I'm a die-hard Grenade fan, after seeing some glowing reviews of Battle Bites on my Instagram I thought I'd give the new product on the block a go. I have never been more impressed by a protein bar. I seriously think that this is something that rivals and if not exceeds Grenade in some areas. The flavour, oh boy the flavour. The modest exterior doesn't give much away besides suspect crunchy knobbely things and a chocolate coating. With my first bite I find myself overwhelmed with caramel crunch, washed away by cream, and then a light sweet touch, with some more crunch as I get to the core. I don't find any resemblance of Whey powder and am delighted to find that I have another in the pack to gobble up so I can enjoy the whole thing again hopefully a little more slowly. I don't find it so much a chore having to grab the protein bar whilst everyone else has a twix, I think that my bar is better. I'm a big foodie so stuff like this matters, and if you are too I think you'll get along with Battle Bites just fine.

Nice bars great texture and very handy that it's in two pieces inside the wrapper if you don't want a full bar.

Overall these aren’t bad.. just a little disappointed with how hard they are and the overall texture. The taste is pretty decent but I think the flapjacks might be more to my liking so I’ll try those next time. These don’t beat Grenade, PHd or snickers protein in my opinion

these protein bars are lovely, full of flavour, rich in texture, healthy also, thats enough for me to enjoy them

They taste ok but the nutritional information is completely different, I chose these bars because of how much fibre was in them …they have just as much as a regular bar and they are higher in calories than said too. And they taste ok nothing great tbh

These can comfortably hold their own against the more established brands. All the flavours are good, and the bars don’t suffer from the chewyness that afflicts some other makes. If you’re planning on buying some protein bars anyway, these certainly deserve a chance to prove themselves.

Not quite sure how these can taste so good and be a protein bar at the same time. From the first bite I was pleasantly surprised by how yummy they are. It is going to be challenging to restrict myself to only having these on training days.

Taste nice enough... But the chocolate bits just fall everywhere. All over my car, and my floor. Fix that, and they will be great
