I do really like this light. I was using an older light bulb light like this to put on dance floors at weddings and that light gets so much hotter than this one, but they are both so pretty to have in background shots of people dancing!It puts out plenty of light, I just wish it has sony npf battery mounts like many other lights.Overall, it's decent! I like the controls and screen and remote. I like the adjustments. I wish it went lower in color temp, but some of my others go to the same range anyway so I am used to it.4 stars!

I picked up the JYJZPB 100W COB LED Video Light with Remote to add as a bi-colored continuous light to my studio. The light is of average size to most other lights in this segment. The light has a Bowens mount built in, which should be expected these days.What I like about the light: I love the remote control it comes with that has all the same functions as the back controller on the light (minus the fan on/off option). The brightness levels are consistent throughout the light spectrum. There is an app you can download for both Android and iPhone. You can set 3 different presets and presumably control up to 40 of these lights with one remote.There are a few different things I don't like and have concerns about. First off, the fan can be a bit loud. Light only goes from 3200K to 5600K where I have an IFOOTAGE that goes from 2700K to 6500K for less money. The app requires a lot of permissions that you need to allow for it to function - when it's a Chinese-developed app with very little ability to know what else they're doing with the app working in the background.Overall, it's a good light but unless the price comes down below the 200 dollar mark I'd suggest looking at other lights before settling on this one. IFOOTAGE has a 200 dollar light that blows this one away in compact design, light spectrum, FX modes, and brightness - so good light but might want to consider others unless you get a deal on this one.

I ordered this JYJZPB 100W COB LED Video Light with Remote Control, All Metal Bi Color Light to help light up my videos when shooting them. This light is very bright, and I use a elastic white diffuser on it's standard reflector to help soften the light some. It's brightness can be adjusted from low to high, and it's color temperature can also be adjusted from warm to cool. Now it's fan is whisper quiet, but I would not place a microphone so close to it. I like the included remote that let's you control all the functions of this LED Light. It is made of mostly all metal with very little plastic parts. This Led Light is built like a tank. Now it's size is about the same size as my studio strobes, and it does have some weight to it. So I would recommend using a heavy duty light stand with it. Over all I am really impress and glad that I ordered this JYJZPB 100 Watt LED Video Light With Remote, and would recommend it to anyone...

I make youtube videos as well as help from time to time on smaller indy films for festivals and such, so I knew this would be a handy light to pick up for needed shoots.This light however is out done my my older NEEWER light.This light is louderThis light has less rangeThis light however does have effects ill probably never use, but if we need them for a film, it might come in handy.I also prefer the adjustment on my Neewer compared to this one.my other light was more money than this when i picked it up new, but now its cheaper than this one.Dont get to remiss about the negativesThe light output is solidIt fits standard accessories, and mounts just like any of my other lights.I like XLR power cord setup making it useful with the locking plug.Overall, I think it could be a bit cheaper to compete with more well known amazon brands.

This JYJZPB 100W COB LED video light seems to be well made. It doesn't seem to be much brighter than other 60W lights I own in the same category. The current price of $229.99 is too much considering you can get a better name brand 100W light with higher a CRI and more features for $80 less (or even a higher watt power one). Not knowing the JYJZPB China brand I would highly recommend you get the 3 year protection plan should you choose to purchase this light.

I love the construction of this light, it is very well made.This is also a bright light and great for video use. I found it to be much brighter than my other lights.It includes a remote control which is nice once the light is up on a tall stand.The Bowens mount is also nice and allows a lot of choices for diffusers.Overall this is a great light and a good price for what your getting.

Overall this light is just "ok". It's lightweight, which makes it easier to maneuver. You have to keep it plugged in, but the power cord is pretty long, plus there is a decent amount of cord on the adapter as well. My son in law is a professional, he shoots music videos for various artists. I figured he would benefit from this light, but what he has is better & brighter. I will keep this as a backup in case his equipment ever fails, but that's all I can really use it for. I haven't downloaded the app and I probably will not. The fan is also an issue, its not extremely loud, however when dealing with sensitive microphones, the noise from the fan is definitely a problem. The quality just does not warrant the price point.
