Easy to install.
Easy to install, good material, staples provided did not work in my staple gun.

Great replacement. A bit of a pain to get on correctly though.
Easily replaced the very cracked and painful stock armrest cover in a 2002 Explorer Sport Trac. My only problem is even with a staple gun, the provided staples did not want to go through the plastic armrest top to hold the leather down. Took some hot glue and liquid nail to get that part done. Also, make no mistake, getting the corners to fold and sit perfectly was a huge pain. The corner on the passenger side has a bit of an imperfection in us trying to get the folds to lay flat. All in all, well worth doing and buying to replace the bad one.

Pretty much what I expected. You get what you pay for. Read the description before you purchase.
Got the console cover in the mail in a timely manner. The color is pretty much the same as in the picture, kind of dark camel. It came with 1) cover (thin vinyl), 2) instructions, 3) heavy-duty staples. I thought it included foam padding, but apparently padding only comes with an "upgrade" so I'll have to use my current (worn) padding or buy some from local craft store. But padding was still mentioned in this item's description. I have to rent a heavy-duty staple gun (description did not mention that a "heavy duty" stapler was needed). I still haven't read the instructions yet & I'm hoping they are thorough, understandable & complete (fingers crossed). But hey, it's just $13 bucks. Not a lot to be upset about.

Don't use staples!
This is just a flat, non fitted piece of vinyl, so it won't ever be as good as the original in that there will be creases and puckers at the corners. It does work OK although I found a much easier way to install it than the seller suggests. They include staples to hold the vinyl in position until the plastic cover is screwed on but this is very difficult as the surface is not flat and I actually cracked the part while trying. Then I used some tape and it worked perfectly! Not sure what type of tape it is but duct take or carpet tape should work well. Added bonus is that, if you don't get it positioned correctly the first time, you can easily redo it.

Perfect Replacement
It took me forever to find this once my console cover ripped. The instructions are easy to follow for the most part, there is a video tutorial, however, which I used and recommend. The biggest difficulty is stapling it to the plastic on the inside. It took me forever to get the staples in, but the cover is very forgiving, so if you make a mistake, it will not tear or show on the outer part. Looks just like the original - you wouldn't know it was a replacement.

Eh. It was OK.
I guess I ordered the wrong color. I should have ordered the darker one. I installed it anyway. Installation is a breeze but it was a tiring wrestling match trying to staple the fabric to the lid. The supplied staples did not work. I tried a couple of other brands of staples but none of them worked well since the staples were not sharp enough to penetrate the plastic lid. Things would have been easier if the fabric was slightly bigger. The way it is cut, there really is nothing to grip while stretching it over the console lid & catching the fabric with the staples was difficult. I can't say anything about how it wears since I already sold the truck.

This was a replacement on a 1996 ford explorer console ...
This was a replacement on a 1996 ford explorer console cover that had torn. The piece fit very well and I was able to fit it and staple it into place with no problem. There is a video that helped with the installation. This was much cheaper than trying to find a replacement console that costs about four times as much. Only issue was that the staples did not sit flat, but when you put the console together again it was no problem.

Good enough
Could have been a little bigger. Staples useless. Plastic too old and hard to take staples. Used aluminum hvac tape and squeezgy to iron out and it worked well.
