Light But Strong
I have a number of trailers that I use all the time and have found that they are a little whibbly when disconnected from my truck.I use the trailers mostly to transport race cars to and from tracks and so we are in and out of them all weekend, getting tools and equipment, changing into race gear and sometimes, depending on the weather moving the car in and out of the trailer too. These stabilizing jacks work great at doing just that. You can't and shouldn't use these to jack up a vehicle, but with the rated ability of 6,000lbs per unit they will work great to stabilize a trailer or RV or even a car/truck for safety reasons, once they've been jacked up.Since I often park on grass I cut squares out of some marine plywood I had left over and use them as a base to set these on. The squares spread out the weight and provide a solid base for the jacks to work from. I will use these on all surfaces when I use these.Setting them up is pretty easy. I raise the front of the trailer with the tongue jack, place these in position in the front of the trailer and slowly lower the trailer until it is resting on the stability jacks. I then position the other two in the rear of the trailer, raising the threaded rod until it is snug to the bottom of the trailer. It's very obvious how solidly the trailer sits once you've got these in place...and by comparison how insecure it was before.I like the light weight of these units, they are less than 2lbs each with cast aluminum bases and a steel alloy screw head. If you remove the screw heads, you can stack all the jacks on top of each other like plastic cups. I have a soft zippered sack i then put the screw heads into and they fit inside the stacked bases. Takes up very little space, and are easy to assemble and put to work.Very please with how these are made and how well they work. Amazing that each one of these light, cast jacks is rated to 6,000lb. Nice addition to our gear.

Works good for the price.
Works good for the price. Wanted cheap stabilizers for a BBQ trailer.

lightweight
they performed well but a little to light weight to trust them well. The bolt with nut assembly are very wobbly and unstable in more extended reaches.

Does the job, but works more as a supplement!
I ordered these for my 20-foot camper. These jacks are incredibly lightweight, making them easy to handle and store, yet they provide solid support for my travel trailer. They were straightforward to set up and significantly reduced the wobble and movement inside the camper, even with a 40-pound dog running around inside the camper. I would not use this as a standalone support for heavy loads, it's best suited for use in combination with your camper's existing supports. Overall, a great purchase for added stability on the road!

Crank up instead of slide; excellent stability
These stabilizer jacks are strong with an amazingly solid hold. I didn't use them to prop up an RV though. I used them to level out a trailer attached to our truck. The trailer was much heavier on one end than the other. We had to leave the truck attached overnight, but the trailer had such an uneven weight distribution that we had to prop it up so we didn't risk damaging our truck. These stabilizer jacks saved the day! We were able to place two under the middle, and two under the rear of the trailer. Then we just cranked them up to level the trailer out. These jacks didn't lean, slide, or tilt. They held strong, and solid all night long. The trailer didn't even creak once after we set these up. Lol. This is a solid, durable product that I definitely recommend.
