DIGITECK 615 Wireless Driveway Alarm, Wireless Intruder Alarm

.Open the packaging..Insert battery into PIR sensor..Fit it to the wall/area you want protected.(dont use supplied screws. Supplied screws are always dodgy).Put batteries into receiver unit and switch on.It's that easy! Sensor is very good and picks up movement from quite a distance away. It scans with a 30 degree angle and has a range of around 8 metres. I've fitted ours with a bit of tape either side of the sensor to narrow its field to around 10 degrees as it was ringing when we where leaving our front door and I just wanted it to pick up movement at the top of our drive.Alarm is very loud and the chimes can be but there is a Hi/Lo setting which works well.This unit came with two receivers so I have one on Hi in the porch. It's loud enough for people walking up the drive to hear it so they know we know they are there. The other is in the hall on Lo so we can hear it in the kitchen and up stairs.We live in a large old house but the receiver gets the signal where ever we take it.Very good product and it is a good addition to a homes security and residents peace of mind.

Great product, I have three, one for shed and two monitoring my driveway. We have an expensive alarm system and Nest camera but it is the Digiteck ding dong that alerted me immediately as someone tried our car door. Called police and culprit was arrested ten minutes later.This is more useful than expensive alarms or cameras because you are notified immediately.

These are so good. People visiting the house hear the alarm before they knock to announce their arrival. We can hear them coming! For years now we have been purchasing these alarms they do not last forever but are reasonably priced so we just purchase another. Understandably, the extreme wet weather effects the internal workings; how as undercover we don't know but definitely recommend them as they can be placed anywhere within the distance recommended in the instructions.

this alarm is really reliable i have 2 of these they are first class and the service is great have told my friends about these thank you very much

A good product, people should install a few of these movement sensors around their propertydue to the high number of break ins the country is experiencing from foreign burglary gangs, etcSometimes a large bird can trigger it off but overall gives peace of mind as you know someonehas come onto the property.

Needed an alarm for covering gate / drive some distance from house (approx 40m). Works ok, but is quite sensitive so be aware of passing animals even close by and not directly in line of the PIR. Have tried re aligning to improve but still set off when not required. Function good though from that point of view! and the sounder is clear through the house.

product is working fine very pleased with delivery although inclusion of batteries would have made 5stars even if additional cost

Use it in the front of my new car and have one alarm sounding in the car & one in the house. Volume of alarm is very good and variable. Only criticism is that there is no 'off' switch for the sensor & it is very sensitive.
