First the gripe: though it appears you're buying a complete game, you end it with a distinctly anti-climactic 'To me continued in Part 2...' All they need have done would have been to call it 'Dying for Daylight Part 1', and I wouldn't have felt let down, or, to be frank, rather cheated. At the time of writing this review there has still been no announcement about a second part being released.Having got that out of the way, the game itself was great, though a little short; it took about four hours to complete. If, like me, you've never heard of Charlaine Harris, don't worry: the setting of the game is made clear enough. You play the part of Dahlia, a fashion-conscious vampire who has the job of finding a potion that will allow vampires to go out in daylight (though, as mentioned above, you won't succeed in doing so in this game). You hunt takes you around various locations as you hunt for the objects necessary to allow you to progress towards your goal.The dark humour is its best point, with an engaging story to go with it. The graphics are pretty good too. Overall it's a pretty good balance of hidden object screens, finding objects in the game itself, and a few elementary puzzles. If the game had been longer, and complete, I'd have given it five stars; as it is I can only give it four.

Southern Vamp Charm
I bought this as i was drawn to the story being penned by Charlene Harris. Disappointed i was not. A well constructed ensemble of characters and story that keeps you thinking as well as the little puzzles that you know you will have to come back later but don't mind. It was well laid out, the graphics and artwork are lovely and i was very much into this. Only warning is that they say at the start that there are 7 chapters. So 2nd night playing i was on chapter 4 and enjoying it when it pops up to be continued and look out for dying for daylight 2 which was a little bit aggravating. 4 chapters seemed a little like not getting a decent slice but i would proberly still keep an eye out for the follow up as i did enjoy this game.

good game but needs a bit of thought
This game would not install on Windows 10 but if you keep putting the disc back in it will continue where you left off. Many people think part two is a separate disc but it isn't. Part two follows the end of Dying for Daylight you just need just to read a short message and press play.

I am very pleased with the game, the graphics are brillient and I think my niece likes it. Not sure whether she's started playing it yet.
