I love this brand's concealer and this foundation. I've never found anything my skin responds to so well. I'm in the medium range of fair, light brown hair and light blue eyes. Foundation in usually neutral or yellow undertones, maybe 2-3 shades from the lightest. was a little too dark. Not terribly but I thought I could do better. I guess I can't? I was really bummed about how red it instantly set on my skin. I couldn't do anything with any powder to balance out the red either.I don't like writing this because I love this brand so much and want everyone to love it too! So, my advice- the two lightest shades just do not work, from what I've tried, with neutral undertones. Actually my best match is on the line of concealers but I can usually adjust anything with the right powder. The quality and the weight of just the product makes it worth the small bit of extra time.

I ordered this after reading reviews and decided to try it out since it had more shade options. I ordered three different shades, from a lighter one, to two darker ones as I tend to lighten in winter and darken I summer. I got the lightest shade first and it came in a bottle without a dropper. I was disappointed and was considering returning it, but decided to give it a try. I loved it from the first time I put it on. I got the other two shades four days later. The other two shades came in bottle with droppers. In fact, the bottles appear bigger. Odd considering there are the same brand. Hopefully in the future, they just sell it in the dropper bottle. Much easier to dispense

Ordered ocean surf and it’s definitely way darker than advertised. Great product but need a lighter shade if possible!!

I like this brand but I was a little disappointed with how this makeup looked when applied. On my skin, especially in the t zone it looks extremely flaky and just kind of bad. Maybe it would be better in combination with another makeup, like as an airbrush layer.

I loved trying this foundation. The coverage is great, it feels nice on the skin but the huge flaw is the color is much darker than shown on the chart. I purchased the ocean surf hoping it would match my fair skin tone. Unfortunately the color is very bronze. While I wasn’t orange, This foundation has a bronze pink tone that doesn’t look natural on very fair skin. I’m sad to have to return it. If you have a neutral to warm skin tone this is the make-up for you. Based off the chart go one shade lighter than you think you’d be and it should work perfect. Please let me know if you ever release lighter shades than Ocean Surf!

I absolutely love this makeup! For light coverage you can just use a little, or for more coverage you just use more.I haven’t used it in hot or humid weather and haven’t actually tested how waterproof it is.I can say I have incredibly uneven skin tone and this makeup can take care of it with no effort. It goes on beautifully. It feels great, doesn’t get shiny throughout the day and looks just as great at the end of the night as it did right after I put it on in the morning. PLUS, I’m the person who’s always layered my makeup because I’m so self conscious of my skin and I don’t even need to wear powder over this stuff.Seriously, it’s amazing and I absolutely recommend it!

I have a light complexion, so after looking at the chart above, I ordered the Ocean Surf. Wow! It was way darker than pictured! I double checked the label on the bottle just to make sure the shade was Ocean Surf. Yep, ok there. I'd say the shade was closer to the Sand and Surf. Leaves me wondering if maybe the wrong shade was accidentally put in the bottle. Stranger things have happened.

I not only love the way this foundation goes on when you apply it, but it gives just the right amount of coverage and best of all no chemicals!

This looks nice when freshly applied. The coverage is very decent. However, those with dry skin may find it too drying and that becomes evident not immediately after but as early as one-two hours later. Might work alright for oilier skin though.

Perfectly acceptable foundation, has some flaws but it's mostly good. It's a pretty good vegan dupe for L'Oreal True Match Foundation. The formula tends to separate and look oily when sitting in the bottle so you need to stir it before use. I am quite light, not as pale as others, but the lightest tone is a tad warm on me so it would probably look best after I get a tan. I have combination skin and on dry areas of my face the foundation tends to have a bit of a weird texture, but every drug store make up has also done that to me. I'm not sure if I will repurchase or just keep trying new products but I bought because I'm looking to only buy vegan health and beauty products in the future, so if you're looking to do the same this might work for you.

I have to say, as a woman in my 30's who wears make-up daily I've been through a lot of brands, tried expensive stuff and been disappointed, had bad skin reactions etc. This product is amazing!!! I wanted to find something with better ingredients, Canadian, and cruelty free, this is it!!! It goes on so smooth and has such good coverage I barely have to apply any. Although it's waterproof, it does wash off nicely at the end of each day which I love. It doesn't make my skin oily or cause breakouts, in fact I feel like it may have helped clear my skin up even (bonus). I have to say, at the end of a 12 hr day this make-up looks just as flawless as when I applied it in the morning, this is the only one I've found that stays looking fresh and not greasy or caked on by the evening.Verrrrrry happy with it :)

the quality of the foundation is really good! You literally only need a tiny bit of product. Good ingredients,nice texture, and really nice finish!I got the lightest colour and it was still too dark, the picture looks a lot lighter than it was. So I found that a little bit misleading.I can still wear it, but it is a little bit orange

If you're fair and have tried many brands and end up orange but also need a paraben-free foundation for all kinds of coverage this is the best choice hands down.Once I reordered it though, the bottle I received was quite runnier than the last one, otherwise I'd give it a 5 star.
