I initially got this hoping to use with my phone for an occasional larger display for some games and movies. I realized the phone usb connection was not enough to power the screen, which I should have anticipated. I know there are other power options so I might pursue this further at some point.I've since be using it as a second monitor for my work laptop and it works great - the laptop is plenty capable of powering it through USB. It's smaller than a full second monitor so I just use it to keep an eye on email or messages, but it's super easy to connect and immediately kicks in with no other weird setup or extra steps. I did need to go into my Windows display setting initially and configure the desired multi-display settings, but it's been fine since.The display itself looks really good - I'm not using it for anything elaborate, but colors look great and text is clear. Even not being able to use it for my original purpose, I've been really happy with this.

I have been using this monitor for the last few weeks, and it has been my travel companion without any issues. I have used it with my laptop, connecting USB-C to USB-C, allowing me to extend the screen and have a second monitor for spreadsheets, reading, watching videos, and Photoshop. The monitor is well-built and has a rotatable stand, allowing it to sit vertically or horizontally. The picture quality is clear, with a max resolution of 1920 x 860 at 16x7 instead of 16x9. The speaker's sound is tiny but audible, which is expected for such a small, portable monitor. The sound will not blow anyone away, but they do the trick if you need to hear what is playing on a video or listening to a podcast. The monitor includes the cables required: USB-A to USB-C, USB-C to USB-C, and HDMI to USB-C, and all wires are over three feet long. I also tried connecting my Switch using the HDMI and USB-A cables for power, and the picture came through just fine. However, the image was a little stretched. Overall, this is a good quality portable monitor and comes with everything needed besides a screen cover, which I remedy by facing the screen towards my laptop when placed in my bag. The only thing I wish was added is a screen cover since the size of the monitor is odd, making it difficult to find a slim yet strong enough cover to protect the screen.

Once you get used to working with multiple monitors, it's hard to go back to using just one. The Kwumsy L3 Portable Monitor might only be 12-inches in diameter, but it has an amazingly clear picture with a maximum resolution of 1920 x 860.Connecting it to your system is easy once you figure out everything. It comes with 3 different cables: USB-C to USB-C, HDMI to USB-C, and USB-A to USB-C. If your computer's USB-C port can provide enough power to power up the monitor, you use the USB-C to USB-C cable. If your computer's USB-C port cannot provide enough power to power the monitor, you will have to use both the HDMI to USB-C and USB-A to USB-C cables, similar to picture I uploaded showing the laptop with the monitor. The USB-A to USB-C cable can either be connected to your laptop or to a power adapter with a USB-A connector.On the back of the monitor are mounting screws so you can attach it to monitor stand. If you use it travel, you will probably want to get a slipcover or tablet pocket to protect it from getting scratched up in your bag.The only real drawback to the monitor I found if you use the sound through the monitor, the audio volume is really low. Even with turning the monitor's volume up to 100% and computer's audio to 100%, it's hard to hear anything. There's a phono jack for headsets but some of the headphones I tried have large crowns so they wouldn't fit. Rather than routing the sound through the monitor, I left the audio to go through the computer.If you travel a lot or just want a small secondary monitor to take with you, I highly recommend the L3.

I travel a lot for work, and this is great to take along with on those work trips where I don't have a full office. Give me that extra little screen space I need to be just that much more efficient. Easy to setup and connect. Hooked right up to my laptop. Did not even have to install any drivers.

Don't get me wrong its not a horrible display. I just really don't like the size and aspect ratio. Its not too bright. It needs external power with a phone which I would think a monitor this size would be able to run off a phone connection. It has good viewing angles. you don't get a lot of monitor for your dollar. The current $99.00 price keeps it from being competitive. I wouldn't recommend this unless you are specifically looking for the small size or the aspect ratio.

I recently got my hands on this portable computer monitor and I couldn't be happier with it. The resolution is fantastic, and its size is just right, fitting easily into my bag. The built-in kickstand is a great feature, eliminating the need for a separate stand to keep it in place.While I did encounter some issues trying to get it to work with a single USB-C cable, using separate cables for power and video resolved the problem completely. The image quality is excellent when connected to my laptop, though it's worth noting that the resolution can cause a slightly stretched image when connected directly to a device like a Nintendo Switch.One small drawback is the lack of a carrying sleeve. Given its unconventional size, finding a perfect fit can be a challenge. However, this is a minor issue compared to the overall performance and convenience of this lightweight and easy-to-use portable monitor.All in all, I highly recommend this monitor to anyone in need of a high-quality, portable display solution.
