I would not recommend this product, even if it were for free. I wanted to use it out of convenience, instead of using my mom's 1960s, built like a tank, stainless steel egg poacher that only takes 4.5 - 5 minutes. The silicone, condom-like containers have a small, fin-like base that falls over and floats if you don't use an appropriate small pan to keep them upright. The cleanup is a pain and time consuming.I recommend using a stainless steel egg poacher with butter like the one I inherited from my mom ( if you can find one) or even a cheap egg poacher from Walmart, Amazon, Target, etc. The egg poacher shape is perfect for Eggs Benedict/poached eggs which I enjoy the most. As far as hard boiled eggs, it's just easier to boil eggs and peel, than having to dig out the 10 minute egg with a butter knife with the Not so Easy Egg Silicone egg boiler. I would give it No Stars if I could.

This shipped very fast. We used it for hard-boiled eggs and they turned out perfectly, except for one. We did try one with a little bit of oil because we had heard this might make it easier to pop the egg out. That didn't work. The other five we made just by cracking the egg into the cup and they worked and tasted fine. And I like the color of these better.

Do not bother. They don't work. They don't float upright in the pot and the eggs stick no matter what spray or oil you use to coat the insides.
