This fourth and I assume, final, book in the Leah’s Garden series was a satisfying, enjoyable culmination to the stories of the four Nielsen sisters and their new life in Nebraska after the Civil War. As always, Ms. Snelling’s writing kept me interested throughout and curious to find out the ending. I love the many references to God’s grace , forgiveness, and provision. I had read the previous three books in the series , but I felt like other readers could still enjoy this one without prior knowledge as there was sufficient background knowledge given in the text. For those who love historical fiction with good storytelling and God’s love woven throughout , this will not disappoint.
