I have a heavy phone (Samsung S24 Ultra) and it securely holds this phone in a Mag Safe case. Charging works well and it will clip on to round vents as well as rectangular or square vents. Can easily position the phone vertically, horizontally or in any other position. It is easy to install.

This mount works great. I had no trouble at all attaching it to the vent on my car. The magnet is really strong as well. It held my phone rock solid without any slippage or falling off, even on bumpy roads. I've tried other mounts with similar design and had a problem with weak magnets but this one is very strong. It also charges very quickly which is much appreciated. Overall, there's really nothing to complain about. It does exactly what it's supposed to do and does it well!

I ordered the Mcdodo Magsafe Car Mount Charger primarily for my iPhone 15, but it works well with my OnePlus 10 Pro too, since I have a MagSafe case. I got this because it looked the least bulky and I wanted the magnetic holder. It fit easily into my AC vent, but I can no longer adjust the direction of my AC, like at all. The prongs definitely hold it in place but at the cost of being able to use the vent. On the upside, my phone shouldn't overheat like it usually would from being in the windshield because it's right in front of the AC.The magnet is not that strong. I have a pretty thin, clear case on my iPhone, but it slides around a bit when I place it on the mount. Once I feel like I can let go, it doesn't fall, but it's not as strong as some of my other phone holders. I can't comment on the charging since I use a different cable for charging/aux, and I only wanted it for the holder. It comes with a usb-c cord, which I would need an adapter to use anyway.

Had another brand magsafe car charger with a different fastening mechanism and it had a hard time staying secure. This one is solid as a rock, magnet is strong but you can still pop the phone off without trouble. Secures well to the vent in the car, I can angle it wherever I want. Very happy!

As far as I am concerned, this is the only way to mount and charge your phone in your car. No cables to mess with, just stick your phone on it and away you go. It holds the phone well and charges at 15w fast wireless charging speed which is the fastest most if not all current devices support. It's more than enough to use your phone with Android Auto or Carplay and still have it charge fully in an hour or so. Faster if the phone is idle of course. The included vent mount is a quality one, though I did;'t use it because the charger uses a standard ball mount, so I just affixed it to my existing dash mount.
