Daddy-Long-Legs Paperback – October 8, 2017

I love this book. Its a bit weird all of the page numbers are roman numerals but it doesnt effect the story! Judy's letters make for an excellent read and I encourage anyone who is reading this to listen to the musical based on it. Fantastic musical but read before you listen to it!

Absolutely adorable book. The only complaint I have with the physical copy is that there is no name on the spine...odd.

More a novella than a novel but good fun.

This book does not contain any of the author's illustrations. The description is in error. It's just not as fun a book with out them.

After searching for this book for years, I was pleased to find it on Amazon. Unfortunately, when I got it, I was dismayed to find there were no pictures. How can you have Daddy-Long-Legs without Judy's drawings? I purchased another version, after reading the reviews and making sure the drawings were included.

An endearing book from a long-ago time.

Amazing gift

This is the worst version of this charming story I could possibly imagine. They took away all the drawings! The conceit is that Judy's writing letters, and she illustrates them -- she's always drawing, it's part of the story -- and for some unknown reason, the editors have removed all the pictures. Small type, barely any white space at all -- you might as well read a .txt copy of the story. What a disappointment -- and the one reason buying online is hit or miss: you can't hold it in your hand and see that it's a pig in a poke.

I love this book, the story is gentle and has the feel good factor, from being an orphan to a scholar due the kindness of a stranger the book has been made into a film more than once.

A book I enjoyed re-reading after many years - but "Illustrated" is a fraud. There are pictures here and there, Old Masters as far as I could make them out. But these are not the funny caricatures that adorned the book in print. This is a cheat.

everyone should read this book at least once
