Babymoov Simply Care Audio Baby Monitor, 300 m Range (UK Plug or Battery)

The fact that these monitors can be battery or mains operated is a massive plus. It was so difficult to find a monitor that allowed the baby end to be battery powered and I'm so glad I got these.We're rural parents, and we're building a house. I use this monitor daily, it allows baby to wait safely in the car when I'm checking animals and means he can nap in a cosy caravan while I briefly help build our home.I was feeling so helpless and a complete nervous wreck about leaving baby sleeping or happily sitting in his car seat for a few moments as I wouldn't know if he started crying. I carry this monitor on my belt or bra strap and it has allowed me so much freedom whilst confident that baby is not distressed.We have a video monitor on his crib at home, but this monitor also allows flexibility around the home too, I'll pop baby under his gym to quickly hoover in the next room or have baby in the pram whilst I mow the lawn and this will allow me to hear him if he cries. The battery has lasted me about 6 weeks with very regular use. When it started to run out the sound went a bit robotic, which was completely resolved when I changed the batteries.

I like the fact it is dual powered but picks up a lot of inference on mains power. Volume okay but not brilliant. Just about satisfies my needs. Not outstanding.

Was looking for a fully wireless set of monitors after purchasing another set that only had the parent unit as wireless, the baby unit was plugged meaning that you have to unplug and plug if the baby sleeps in different places and also have a socket nearby to where they are sleeping..pointless!These are small and light, take 4 AAA batteries (not supplied) and are super sensitive. They can be plugged in if you wish, they don't charge the batteries when plugged in, they are distinct modes of power. We will only be using with batteries, so far have been great, they have belt clips which is handy as we clip it to the mosses basket handle and can hear any little mumrming. They also have about 5 red led Indicators that light up depending on how loud the noise, so a quiet murmur would be 1 led and crying all 5. This is good in case you have some noise, e.g watching TV as you can put the unit. in front of you and see the lights flicker.Sound quality is fine, it's not winning any awards but who needs high def crying? My only negative feed back would be the parent unit has a volume wheel which scrolls upwards to turn on, the baby unit has just a on/off switch but it flicks downwards to turn on! minor things.Overall these do job and do it well, very impressed and would recommend to anyone looking for a set.

Pretty much can't use as the static is so loud. Really disappointed. Going to return

We have a proper all bells and whistles baby monitor but it requires your phone, WiFi and a power supply. This one is just really handy if you're out and about or staying somewhere and you are happy just having the audio only.

This monitor stopped working only a couple of months after purchase and the sound quality was not the best. Never expected the sound quality to be great for the price however I did expect it to last much longer

Oh how long I've spent trying different alarms. Range, battery operated or plug in one that simply turns on. Well.... this does, one battery the other (toddlers room) plugged in, 3 floors up and I can hear and now I can sleep 😴

I was impressed with the range and thought it was a great unit at the start. I bought this because it can run off batteries but it started getting costly from having to change them a couple of times each week. The unit was very prone to interference from mobile phone signals but wasn't effected by WiFi. It worked OK until now where it still gets a signal but only transmits static noise and no baby noises. I looked at returning it and I'm 6 days passed that option so that's 50bucks down the pan.
