Nice product but not necessary to hold the Trek umbrella on most packs
These sleeves are not necessary to hold the umbrella in the open position on the pack harness. They are used to hold the closed umbrella on the back of your back which is nice if you don't have loops or cords built in to your pack. As most packs have attachment points for ice axes and hiking poles the Trek umbrella, which come with a very nice cover that will protect it, can be secured by the pack itself. Swing Trek does not make it clear that this holder set may not be necessary, therefore I only gave it four stars. This being said I do think this holder set can be useful to hold other items, I just haven't figured out what yet.

ok but could be better
these were not exactly what I thought they were, but will still find them very useful, so will keep. But I still need something fto better stabilize my umbrella.
