i made a very basic coif out of an old bedsheet today to use with later projects. i took a few creative liberties and was called a milkmaid by more than one person walking through the living room, but i'm so happy with the result. it took a few hours, would certainly be an easy beginner project, and was great to shake the rust off my sewing skills.I skipped lining it because i was mostly testing if the pattern would be feasible as some reviews have been negative. i'm pretty sure the negative reviews are from people who have experience with modern patterns and not much else; i have limited sewing experience, but some, and that was enough to figure out the basics.Planning on adding pattern II later this week if I find nice notions for it.

Like all Period Patterns, the instructions are a jumble, but ultimately very usable.
