Save your winch.
I have an ATV with a winch and a snow plow. I stripped the gears on the winch by bumping the winch switch too often while going back and forth - winching the plow up and down clearing my driveway. Adding the stopper gives a little extra leeway for those accidental bumps. has worked well with my new winch.

Does it's job
This does its job well in keeping the winch line from winding in to far. Only thing I wish is they used stainless steel nuts and bolts as the ones that come with it are rusting already. Otherwise a great price and product.
