But The Great Muppet Caper has a lot more going for it: cameos from John Cleese, Peter Falk, and Oscar the Grouch, among others; Miss Piggy parading down a catwalk; and Kermit the Frog on a bicycle. The Muppets are fond of breaking down that pesky fourth wall, which gives the movie some of its cleverest moments and will elicit the biggest laughs from the kids. The great Muppet caper is... Well, great!
Propably the best Muppet movie. A wonderfull absurd humor (notably the running joke with Kermit and Fuzzy being brothers in this movie) and some of the best songs in the series... My only complain is little to no special features. Compering to how packt with special features "The Muppet christmas carol" was it sad to see my favorite Muppet movie to have only one feature which had nothing to do with the movie...Still! While no bonus features may be a big disapointed to some it's still a wonderfull Muppet film that will make you laugh really, really hard!

great caper
Bought this for my 9 year old nephew - who had recently seen the latest muppet movie. He was thrilled and loved it. As it was much, much older - I had wondered if it would be dated and not have the same appeal as the newer film but all his favourite characters were there and it was fast-paced and funny. Great buy!

I've always enjoyed the Muppets ever since I was young
I've always enjoyed the Muppets ever since I was young, and they still make me laugh to this day. The film 'The Great Muppet Caper', arrived closely to its arrival date, which was just fine, and the disc was in perfect condition, not much scratches at all!

The Muppets are a great show. If you like them you will love this. I took the kids to see the latest Muppet movie and they loved it. So I bought a couple of the original films on DVD for home viewing. It really appeals to younger viewers even though some of the scenery is obviously dated. Well worth having!

muppet fun!
I bought this for my husband and 7 yr old, they loved it. Lots of giggles from them both. Singing , dancing, bright and cheerful and amazing puppetry, a great family film. Now they want the other films! This does not date if you are muppet fan they you will enjoy this film .
