Easy to use, makes the scalp and hair feel softer

I hate my review title for this but you should just simply own one of these. They provide that sense of relaxation that only comes from a good scalp massage. In the shower, this works really well when you want to get that shampoo, oil or conditioner worked into your scalp really good. Strongly recommended, I really think they should just give these to people for free to alleviate the stress of the overall world populace but then again I'm kinda crazy, so take that as you will.

I am a fan of what I call "shampoo brushes" which are disks about 3" in diameter with molded-in flexible but firm "bristles." As an alternative, I was curious about this scalp massager which has 19 conical shape "rubber tips" made out of silicone.The effect of the soft silicone cones is quite different from the hundreds of firmer plastic bristles. It is definitely gentler on the scalp, perhaps too much. The older stiffer types were more satisfying for itchy scalp. The silicone version is not terribly different from running your fingers through your hair.It doesn't pull hair, but I did find some stray loose hairs win the massager. Both types fit in the palm of your hand, with the older type having a loop for a finger, and this one with a post that fits between two fingers. Both work equally well.This is about 3X as expensive as an old shampoo brush, but silicone is always more expensive, and there are two parts, the holder and the attached silicone part, while the cheaper ones are just one molded plastic piece.In short, I liked this massager, but I don't think I like it quite as well as the older style. It comes down to matter of taste.It does work as advertised, so 4 stars.

This is a fun item. I didn't know I needed it but now I love it! I like to pair this with I Dew Care's scalp scrub for a really good clarifying scalp massage. I get the scrub applied to my wet hair and scalp and use this tool to gently give a scalp massage. It feels so good and helps to really distribute the product. The brush is easy to hold and the silicone makes it easy to rinse. It's so great for getting a deep clean.

I’ve used a scalp massager in the past. The one I use to have was made entirely of hard plastic, even the bristles. The bristles were very tiny and were all close together. During the time I used that one I had relaxed hair and it worked great.I now have SISTERLOCKS which cause the tiny bristles to get tangled in my hair. Needless to say I stopped using it. I was needing another scalp massager.When I happened across this one it looked like it would be perfect. The bristles were bigger and softer. When I used it for the first time it was amazing. I really felt like my head was being massaged by a lot of small fingers.Although it has a handle which makes it easy to hold, I wish it was made like a ring so that your finger can go through it. That’s the way my previous one was made which made it easier to handle.Overall, this is a nice replacement and I’m glad I ordered. I do recommend. 👍🏾
