Side button on reel wouldn’t stay on…
From the moment we unboxed it, the little cover on the side began falling off, which in turn led to the inside of the reel being loose. Returned it.

Profishiency rod and reels
I don’t know what people do to their rods and reels but I’ve got28 of them some are 10 years old I use them for everything I use 12 to 50 lb braid on them fresh and salt water u have to wash and oil ur reels there very smooth I catch up 75 lb fish on them

Pay No Attention To The Bad Reviews!
This is not a Shimano DC or an Abu Garcia Revo, but it's a good rod and reel similar to a lower-priced Lews. My wife started fishing with me last year, so I got her two spinning rod and reel combos and two baitcasting rod combos. I was very surprised at how solid they are. She's been using them a lot and they are holding up very well. You can't argue with a woman who caught two ten-pound bass in one day!
