Atacama SL 400's - Fantastic product!
These sturdy and well fabribcated stands support my Monitor Audio RX2's.Exceptionally easy to construct and take just minutes. The base and top plate are large, so are ideal for cabinet sizes exceeding 225mm. The top-plate dimensions are 225x225mm, and the footprint is 300x300mm - so they are not ideal for small bookshelf speakers.The SL400's are gorgeous, and they made a noticeable difference to the sound.Floor-spikes are provided, but I didn't receive any gel-pads for the top plate; not to say that I should have, but it would have been appreciated (although, I was expecting it). The RX2's move far too easily on the smooth surface without them.I also added atabites to increase weight and reduce vibrations.These are stands that will last a life-time, aesthetically pleasing, solid, and improve sound quality. What more could you ask for?If I had one gripe, it would be the supplied Atacama stickers. They just didn't like to stick to the foot plate and would curl up.
