I'll start by saying this set is nice as far as packaging, meaning the pumps work well. Not too much comes out of the tubes. It's easy to control. You get plenty of product in both the cleanser and the lotion. Using it is easy. Wash your face and massage that around for about a minute. Rinse and after your face has dried, apply the lotion. I did this at night. Upon application, it's pretty much just there. I didn't feel anything, no discomfort. The next morning, my skin did appear a bit clearer. Some the bumps that I had were less noticeable, but my lips felt more dry than normal. My cheeks felt a little bit tighter too. No biggie though. I made sure to use plenty of sunscreen that day and at night I removed my makeup, then did it all over again. Morning 2, I think this is pretty strong stuff. My lips were more dry and my face felt tighter and almost like sunburn sting. My skin doesn't look flaky or irritated. It just feels slightly stingy. I also noticed some small whiteheads coming to surface. I think this must be a purging situation. For me, I'm probably not going to continuing on full steam ahead with this set. I'm in my early 40's, still have occasional acne, but I think I need to take a more gentle approach. I think this kit would have been a great choice when I was in my teens and really needed and industrial strength acne product. Overall I think it's a good product for the right person and I may perhaps use the cleanser on its own or the lotion on its own when I really need some extra help, but for now, I'm laying off of it because it's just a little too strong for me. I will note that with these types of products you really need to give them time to see how they work, but for my skin at the age I'm at, I'm not willing to do that!

This is a great skincare set. The face wash creates a nice amount of lather and cleanses really well. A little of it goes a long way and it definitely removes oil, so I feel like using the included moisturizer afterwards is a must. It kind of has a bit of a smell that I can’t put my finger on but it’s very pleasant to my nose. The lotion is nice and lightweight and absorbs well. Together, this a nice, complete skincare routine.
