Poor Quality. Disappointed.
Poor quality buckle. The belt seemed sturdy enough but I wasn’t able to try because as soon as I touched he buckle the release lever fell off. Barely touched it. Really disappointed. Was excited for this style belt.

I'd agree that it's the ultimate carry belt
My preliminary review is that this belt is excellent and a better belt than the one I had been using. I've been using a 5.11 leather belt for the last 8 years or so and it is still going strong. Problem was that I started exercising roughly a year ago and lost roughly 4 inches from my waist. This caused extra belt length to really start going pretty far back so I started looking for a new belt.I first bought the Magpul "Tejas" belt and while a decent/rigid belt, 1) it's too thick for some of my holsters and 2) the inner layer is way too grippy. For the first issue, I could always buy another holster, but a replacement belt is usually cheaper or the same price. The main problem is with the second issue. I mainly carry OWB for comfort and need to be able to slide a holster a little forward when riding in a car. In this way, the gun isn't digging into me or the seat. The Magpul belt won't allow for this.So I bought this belt instead and have to say I'm very impressed. First, it lets me adjust my pants material and holster without issue. The inside layer is some sort of nylon that doesn't grip too much, but stays in place. It also allows me to shift my holster without major issue. On top of that is the ratcheting system. I wasn't sure about it, but have to say I now wish all my belts were this way. The ability to micro-adjust to your needs/comfort is definitely the way to go. With normal belts, I'm sometimes in between belt holes so I either have to accept it being too loose or too tight. Too tight isn't comfortable and too loose lets my gun hang away and too low.It was reported that the belt sagged for someone. I carry a Glock 19 with a fully loaded mag and the belt doesn't sag for me at all. I'll post an update after a few months of use and let you know how it's doing.

Removing the buckle and cutting the belt to length is easy. Once it's sized
After getting the Blade-Tech dress belt, I also bought the Blade-Tech tan and black casual/nylon belts. Removing the buckle and cutting the belt to length is easy. Once it's sized, the belt becomes indispensable. The ratcheting mechanism makes the belt super easy to adjust and get the perfect fit. These Blade-Tech belts just obsoleted the rest of my dress, casual, and gun belts.

EXCELLENT quality, FAIR price, VERY secure belt!
Wow! What amazing quality! I have a number of "ratchet"-type belts that I've worn for several years. When I started IWB EDC, the buckles on those belts all began to fail...there was just too much pressure with the holster inside my waistband. This belt is AMAZING! It's very substantial, but still fairly pliable. I was able to cut it to size with a standard pair of scissors. NOTE: be SURE to cut it too long FIRST. You can always cut more. I got lucky. I only added one inch to the size I thought it should be, then cut it. Turns out I was okay...but just beware. The two set screws provided really help secure the belt in the buckle. The teeth are much longer than my other ratchet belts. Even with very strong hands, it was difficult for me to close the teeth tab. But that's a GOOD thing - you want a really strong hold when you're concealing.Bottom line, this belt looks (and smells) great. VERY high quality, and the buckle edges are slightly rounded...no more digging the sharp edges of a buckle into my stomach.Don't hesitate to purchase this belt. The quality is DEFINITELY worth the money!

Poor quality, made in China. Release lever broke the first day it arrived.

This is a great, nice looking carry belt
Great carry belt. The belt itself is no better or worse than my 5.11 carry belt. The reason I wear this one now in stead of the 5.11 is the ratcheting buckle system. It is extremely convenient. Standard buckle styles sometimes end up being between notches. This belt has 1/4 inch adjustments instead of the inch wide gaps on other belts. I can always get the exact fit I need no matter which pants, holster, or carry position I choose. This buckle design is also less bulky, which is nice for guys who are lean and carry appendix.

Liked it so much, I now have 2
I bought the black one of these a few months ago and liked it so much, just added the brown one. This is a seriously strong belt, but with the click adjustments let's you make it the perfect size whether carrying or not. The belt material and the buckles are very good quality and look nice and after a few wears, learns the curve of your shape and becomes even more comfortable. I wear one or the other pretty much every day now.

Belt finish flaking off and manufacture not interested
I had a hard time paying $50 for a belt but since this is supposedly designed as a belt for concealed carry and is from a well known manufacturer I thought it would be worth it. Now after about 8 months of light wear the finish on the belt is coming off.Bladetech wants me to jump through the hoops of sending them the belt, then if they think it's warrantable the will send a new belt....as long as I pay the $15 shipping! Remember a time when US companies proudly stood behind their product and did anything in reason to make a customer happy?Long and the short is that this belt isn't worth $50 if it's going to fall apart with light use.
