Is not supported by iPhone 7
Doesn’t work as advertised. Constant stopping music with error message “this device not supported by this iPhone”. Latest iOS installed and all updates on iPhone 7 which is listed by Amazon for this splitter. The sequence of plugging into phone makes no difference. Same error message. Useless unless you want to listen to music 60 seconds at a time.

A Piece of Junk
The sound with headphones has a lot of static, but the worst part is that after about a minute, my iPhone 7 will say "This device is not supported", and it will stop working. So it's totally useless.Don't be fooled by any five-star reviews. These are mostly fake accounts created by the Chinese sellers to peddle their garbage. I'm now seeing these fake accounts posting fake reviews on almost all of these adapter products. Who knows if any of them actually work. I'm going to gamble on one more adapter, and then call it quits if it doesn't work either.Amazon really needs to crack down on these Chinese sellers. All of them do the same thing:1. Create a new product description for a (copied) junk product.2. Make a bunch of fake 5-star reviews for the product.3. Sell it to unsuspecting U.S. customers.4. Once the actual 1-star reviews start showing up, pull the product from the listings.5. Repeat the process.Notice how most of the reviews that you see are only for the last month or so? That's why. I'm getting really sick of how these people are able to cheat the American public. Amazon needs to do the right thing and kick them off their site! Every single one of them.

Phone doesn’t support it so what’s the point.
Tells me every 5 mins “apple does not support device” which is real sketch considering it’s for headphones and it’s hard to tell if the device is functioning or not which makes me nervous to play my YouTube videos at work. I should have just got an Apple product. My bad.

iPhone 7 user here. Wish I read the recent reviews for this because just like other users it did not work for me. Plays for about 60-90 seconds before ‘iPhone does not recognize accessory’ pops up. Waste of my time and money.

Wouldnt function correctly.
Hooked it up to my motorcycle, would play more than a song or two and not compatible message would pop up and device stopped functioning. Returned it!

Great concept but doesn’t work. As soon as I plug it in, a message on my phone reads “this accessory is not supported by this device. The phone does continue to charge but no sound comes through my earbuds when put in the headphone jack. It just plays through my cell phone speaker. I have the iPhone 7
