My favorite Anthrax DVD!!!!
Just came in the mail yesterday! Great packaging but it's in a digipak and not a jewel case but it came with a cool sticker so I can't complain. I watched the bonus disc first. The first bonus feature was a "on the road' documentary which lasted about 35 minutes. I really enjoyed it! You can see these guys really care about their fans and their music and enjoy playing live after all these years. The second feature was about their instruments and lasted around 25 minutes. Very interesting information about their gear, guitars, drums. Very cool to watch this!Up next is the show. The video editing is actually decent considering most of these live concert DVD's these days switch cameras every 2 seconds. They start the set with 8 older songs including 3 from their latest release For All Kings. Blood Eagle Wings is epic! Love it and the camera work was on point on this track. Up next is the Among The Living record in full with Antisocial to close out the concert! The sound mix on this is excellent, especially Charlie's drums! This would be worth picking up on CD also as good as it sounds! If you are a Anthrax fan you have to have this! My only complaint is that their was nothing played from Persistence of Time. I would love to have heard Keep It In The Family live! Do yourself and a favor and go see these guys live when they come to your town. They are on tour with Slayer, Testament, Lamb Of God this summer!

Almost a perfect live DVD with one minor, but recurring gripe.
Great new live DVD by Anthrax! Just got it and watched it front to back. Here are my initial thoughts:1) Best video quality of any Anthrax release. The cameras are crystal clear!2) Audio quality is top notch! Very well mixed audio makes it listenable3) packaging is first rate! They gave DVD purchasers their moneys worth and did not skimp on the packaging. I know someone else said he did not like the lack of a jewel case, but the smaller one folds out into four panels and really looks good4) Performance is tight and they prove they are the lean mean thrash machine once again. Joey's voice is better than ever, and Charlie is a beast on drums (but we knew that)5) song selection: Well balanced songs between old and new -- especially loved the inclusion of Be All End All - could use some from Persistence of Time. I wish we could hear a live Who Cares Wins. Anyways, here is the DVD song list: AIR, Mad House, Evil Twin, Medusa, Blood Eagle Wings, Fight em Till You Cant, Be All End All, Breathing Lightning, Among the Living, Caught in a Mosh, One World, I Am The Law, A Skeleton in the Closet, N.F.L., ADI Horror of it All, Indians, Imitation of Life, AntiSocial.6) Crowd is into it (not as much as the South American crowds, but who can top those metal heads) -- actually reminds me more of a show from the States.7) Bonus disc with a short 30 minute documentary with interviews and an Anthrax gear video.Ok here is my criticism -- the video editing again. Seems that video editors think it is cool to strobe the camera changes with the beat. That sucks. The most iconic moments in concert videos occur when you can focus on one musician. It really came through when they stopped for a moment to focus on Scott doing the intro to Blood Eagle Wings and it was just an iconic image. The video would be better if there was more of that. Stay on Charlie's feet for more than 1 second -- how about like 5 or 6 seconds? Mix it up, sure, but don't feel the need to strobe until my eyeballs twitch! Maybe it is just me, but that would have been better.Anyways, this is a great release that really captures Anthrax at the top of their game.

I will always support these guys, but.....
This DVD is average at best. The audio is pretty good actually, it's the video that is really....really bad. The image quality is on par with what a modern DVD filmed with HD cameras should be, which is good, but whoever edited this thing is an amateur at best. From start to finish it is nothing but 60-70, yes you read that right 60-70 cuts per MINUTE!!! It is literally seizure inducing. To add insult to injury, it could be a great part of a song, like John soloing, or maybe a sick drum fill by Charlie, yet never is the camera on the right member when it needs to/should be. I honestly think a kid in high school taking an A/V course could edit better than this was done. All that said, I love these guys. I will always buy every CD or DVD they put out and I'll go to their shows right up until their last tour. They're a great band, this DVD is just very weak. 2 1/2 stars.

Love the band
Love the band, love the songs, the crowd is hyped. Overall solid show. My complaint lies with the editing job. The camera cuts away every two seconds for a different shot - for pretty much the entire set. It's trying to keep a frenetic pace with the music but it's thoroughly distracting. Your eyes can never settle on what any member is doing because before you know it that moment is gone. This is not a style I enjoy as it doesn't take any skill to do this. Just cycle through all cameras every 2 seconds endlessly and repeat.

Good quality for price, even on DVD only format
pre-ordered and was skeptical about dvd quality instead of Blu-ray. But at 12-13 bucks, it was worth the risk. I am a die hard Anthrax fan. The quality really isn't bad at all. The venue isn't like an ampitheatre, so all shots are more or less within a good distance for DVD recording. The editing is actually really well done, and camera scroll from one to the other etc, etc was well done. The sound is also on par with what i expected. There is no voice delay either, which i have come across many times on concert footage where the voice is behind the video by .3 to .5 seconds. I know that seems like nothing until you watch something for 5 minutes and realize it doesn't line up and it irritates you the rest of the show. I do have a 5.1 surround sound receiver so maybe that helped with sound instead of tv speakers, but it sounded on par with other metal concerts i have on blu-ray format. If you are a fan of thrash, the band, or metal/rock in general, it is worth the small price for a quality show.

Pésimo estado físico
La caja se ve quemada, incluso trae un daño considerable al lado, como si la hubieran tenido en un rincón echándose a perder. Espero los DVD's no resulten igual.
