I’m confused by the reviews saying it broke on the first try… what were you doing with it, digging a grave? We’ve been using this for many months to sift rocks and pebbles out of soil for gardening. It feels sturdy without being too heavy and unwieldy. The price point is a steal, everywhere else is charging $100+ for a tool of this size and quality

I am a newbie to the metal detecting world I took this on my vacation to Florida went to dig on my first target and shovel broke so it ruined my first metal detecting experience It was in beach sand what it was designed for and immediately broke I wished I had took a picture of it would not recommend

I ordered this for my husband to hunt for cool rocks on the beach with the kids. This sand scoop isn't his favorite. It's heavy to use for long periods and the way the scoop is it's not great for getting rocks out of the water, which is what he wanted it for. It does seem nice quality and I'm sure if you just had sand it might be better for that. Our beaches are very rocky and this just isn't great for that.

Going to the beach is now my favorite hobby, playing with the sand looking for anything valuable is so fun. It was easy to use, weight make it easy to handle. Recommended 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

This thing is very bad quality it claims to be made with high grade stainless steel but it started rusting and breaking after the first trip to the beach do not waste your time or money

I recently got into going to beach and shell/ fossil hunting and this was a must have. Build quality is solid and feels way better then my last one. So far I've had no issues with any rust or bending which has been great. I've been able to find a lot more treasures with this and have been able to go into deeper water thanks to the extensions. No problems as of yet and for the price point its been great, MUST HAVE!

.Very bad quality, broke on the very first time I used it and i had to improvise to fix it.I used it on a soft sand and it started to fall apart immediately.total waste of 60$

I got this long handled sand scoop to get shells out of the sand where my family and I walk on the beach. Assembly was easy enough, but I couldn’t fully connect two parts of the handle together. I was still able to use the sifter, but the handle was a bit unstable. This sifter works best on dry, loose sand, and filters out large pieces of debris, like sticks and clumps of seaweed. Unfortunately, I couldn’t really clear the shells I wanted to clear using this sifter. In the dry sand, the shells were small enough to fit through the sifter’s holes. In damp and wet sand, neither the shells nor the sand could sift out, so the sifter basically worked like a shovel.Overall, I’d *only* recommend this sifter if you’re trying to sift large debris out of totally dry and loose sand. It’s not useful on small debris or wet sand.
