I only review deserving products and this is one. The gasket on our front loading washer had mold stains on the top and the bottom. We didn't notice the top at first and worked on the bottom with bleach. It helped but didn't get rid of it. We decided to give Mold Stain Remover a try and ordered it. That's when we noticed the top also. After the first application 90% of the bottom was gone and about 50% of the top was gone. It was in a very difficult to reach spot. The product is a gel so we got the hang of it and after the 2nd application the bottom was no longer visible. We were so happy and did 2 additional applications on the top (which was pretty bad before we started). The top now looks sparking clean as does the bottom.We're really happy we found this product. It stays in place when applied and forms crystals when dry which can be wiped off. We left it on, as per the instructions, for at least 5 hours, usually over night. Now we won't incur a costly gasket replacement due to this product. A little patience and perseverance got it looking great when it was in pretty bad shape. Now we'll use it as occanional maintenance and I'm confident it will greatly prolong the life of the gasket. Highly recommended but use according to directions and depending on how bad it is that you are cleaning, be prepared for multiple applications.

I never leave reviews. But I have never had a cleaner work as well as this. Our shower isn't very old but was starting to get black and orange mold stains along the grout and caulk that we couldn't remove with bleach and bathroom cleaners. It seems under the caulk in spots. We had already removed and replaced the caulk once. I ran a bead of this along the seems of our shower mid morning and when we returned from work it had solidified and looked clear. I turned on the shower head and wiped it gently with a wash cloth. My shower looks brand new. I could not be happier. This product is amazing.

This got rid of the mold and mildew on the rubber in our front load washer. I used a washer tablet first with the tub clean cycle and then put this on after. I let it sit overnight and it easily wiped off the next morning. Then I ran another tub clean cycle without any cleaner just to get a very good rinse. Let it dry with the door open after and it looks and smells much better than before! The product makes the room smell strongly like a pool but that's better than mildew. It helps to have a vent running or window open if possible. Sorry I forgot to take pictures.

It works! I have been plagued with some mildew stains along my tub for years. Having tried a plethora of mildew removers that just removed my money but didn’t do anything about the stains, I was not really expecting much. Boy, was I surprised! I went in a couple of hours after I applied this gel; the stains were gone!! Not just lighter; they were gone. Great product!! Do be careful to follow the directions about wearing gloves while applying. I did get a very small amount on my skin— burns like fire. I quickly washed my hands with baking soda and water to neutralize the acid. I think I will get a couple of extra bottles to have on hand. I imagine they will be forced to weaken the formula to prevent acid burns in the future.

I was so skeptical about getting this but it worked wonders. I've been so bad about cleaning the caulk properly and thought I'd give this a try before trying to remove and recaulk the bathtub. It looks brand new. There were a few spots I had to put the gel on for longer but it was so easy to fix that. The only thing I dont love is the application. Its a bit tough to squeeze the bottle and the one screw on applicator doesn't have a hole so I have to pierce it myself.Also I was able to "reuse" some of the gel. After 4 ish hours, I would scrap off the gel with my finger (I had gloves on) and then put that on areas where there was still mold or other areas of the bathtub.If it wasn't so expensive, I would definitely buy more for later use but it's done the job for what I needed if for.

Okay Folks, this is THE most effective product to remove that ugly black mold in your shower. My tiles had some mold that no matter what I used or how hard I scrubbed, I could not get all of it off! So frustrating and nasty. Decided to give Active a try after reading reviews. OH.MY.GOODNESS!! It's unbelievable!Applied it per instructions late at night & prompty fell asleep while waiting the 3-5 hrs. Next morning went in to check (hoping I hadn't damaged something by leaving it on all night) and it had turned into a thick gel-like substance. I grabbed a cloth, wet it and prepared to scrub it off. It wiped right off with no effort. The mold was TOTALLY GONE! Oh happy day! I would advise that you wipe gel off as instructed and not try to use showerhead to rinse it off. It's thick and doesn't disintegrate/melt; I would worry it could create a clog in drain if washed down drain. I rinsed walls after making sure all gel was gone. Will definitely but again to have on hand. Great stuff!

I received this yesterday, and opened it up right away. The product was already coagulated into a thick jelly substance. I bought it for my washing machine’s rubber seal which had years-old mold stains that I couldn’t get out. I tried to apply it with the tip applicator, but because it was so thick it wouldn’t squeeze out. So I just took off the applicator and squeezed it out directly from the bottle. This made it difficult to apply and get into all the crevices, but I tried my best. Because it was difficult to apply, some of the product had splattered on my pants. Be warned, the product contains bleach so it stained and ruined my pants.I left the product for about 5-6 hours, and amazingly It does work very well for black mold stains on rubber parts of your washing machine. The stains were mostly gone! I had to reapply again as I had missed some hard to reach areas.Overall, I am pleased with this product, but the quality and difficulty to apply made me subtract a star.
