Appears to be the wrong size
Starting to try espresso so wanted a single sized portafilter for my isomac tea. For the last 3 years it’s been cappuccinos with the double basket. I like to tamp well for which I have a Reg Barber tamper.The double basket is spring loaded and firmly held in, needing care to remove. This one simply clips in.Suddenly I cannot tamp. If I press the tamper into anywhere near the tamp line it gets stuck tight and pulling the tamper only causes the filter to come out of the holder with it. A knife is needed to release the tamper, causing the barely tamped coffee powder to spill.I’m sure a tamper to fit the isomac should fit any Portafilter.So I’m back on doubles for now.
