We are so happy with this purchase! They are great once you get the sponges out of the package, let them expand, and then add water. With the water they are literally the same width as a regular kitchen sponge and a bit longer. They are in fact reusable, we have reused them a few times with no issue or decrease in quality. Granted they’ve been washed twice. However the actual scrubber really works! I have not liked reusable sponges in the past because the scrubber doesn’t scrub. These scrub very well without scratching. While the other side is soft and great as a regular sponge. We haven’t noticed a smell at all but we rotate them often enough it isn’t an issue. Also I’m glad the colors are dark, it’s great for hiding some of natural byproducts of reusable things.

I bought these thinking that they were single use and at that a good value. I had no idea that they were reusable. But when I read that they were, I just had to check out how they would turn out if washed and dried. I put a used one into the wash and then the dryer with some kitchen towels and it came out looking great - no fraying, not misshapen in any way, the scrubber side looking and feeling the same. This makes them not just a good value but a spectacular one.

I purchased these to clean my frog's vivarium and water dish. The only complaint I have is that the metal mesh needs to be trimmed. I'm not sure if they got snagged during packaging or something, but there are stray strands on several of the sponges. I snipped those off and nothing seems to have unraveled so I think it's just excess material.They clean off the frog's shed wonderfully. A few scrubs and it's gone. Some of it is a little tougher and requires more elbow grease or persistence, but overall these make quick work of an otherwise gross job. For those who don't have frogs - it's about the same as an egg white drying onto your stove top, but not as easily removed.They're easy enough to squeeze out to get a damp sponge, and they hold quite a bit of water for those jobs that require more moisture.That's about all I can say about sponges. I like them and will buy more when these get too ratty. Oh, I have not yet run them through the wash.

I feel so much better using these and being able to wash them and reuse, I don’t like throwing away sponges these are definitely “eco friendly”. I was surprised how much it absorbs because they are thin. They are made well, and one side is soft and the other is for scrubbing but isn’t scratchy you don’t have to worry about your dishes getting scratched up

Best sponge ever! These are durable and retain shape. The shape makes it easy to grip. I would definitely buy again and give as gifts. Great value. I would wash these with my fidhtoeel load.

So far, I've used one sponge, and it is better than most sponges I've used. Love the multiple colors, work well on my pots and granite countertops, very soft, no smell as long as you rinse them thoughly. If the quality of this sponge lasts more than a month, I will not have to buy any more sponges for a year. This is a great savings.

I will never buy any other sponge again. I am completely satisfied with this product! The scrub side is ideal nothing like the green scrubby side on regular sponges that does nothing. The shape fits perfectly in my hand. When they arrived they were completely flat within a short amount of time they had expanded. I just can’t say enough about the quality and price of this product.

Puffed up out of the package to about 1 inch thick. It comes vacuum sealed and very flat at first. Works as expected and I feel like it's a good deal for the 12 count package. I paid $9 on sale. I've gotten a similar brick style sponge from Marshalls that only had seams on the small edge, but I can't seem to find those online. These were a good alternative. I've been using for 2 weeks and they seem like they will hold up for a lot longer. I was worried about the metal on the rough side, but it's still in tact and isn't too abrasive on my dishes or hands. Was also worried about the microfiber being too soft, but it has some decent scrubbing texture to it for cleaning plastic containers and anything else you don't want to use the rougher side for. I'd machine wash, but inside a mesh bag. Haven't tried it yet though.Update: while they are good quality, they dry too slow and retain a mildew smell right off the bat.I squeeze them out and let dry, but the smell comes back. It also transfers onto my hands every time I use the sponge. Particularly gross when I wipe the counter after cooking, before sitting down to eat. I'm going to try to find the covered sponges with more open mesh material, because this didn't happen with those.
