Bought this over several years ago to sharpen my Global 8 inch chef knife. Works quickly and gets a good, sharp edge on my knife. I bought a trimming knife and it arrived dull. Really dull. Instead of returning it, I used this sharpener and it sharpened it to exactly where I wanted it. This is a great sharpener. Easy and quick!

I got a really nice set of Global kitchen knives as a wedding gift and have been really scared of sharpening them with just the rod due to user error on angling. This was really straightforward to use and made me less anxious to sharpen my whole set. All you do is put in some water at the bottom and position the knife in each of the three areas back and forth about 8 times per. The angle guiding was really nice and overall it worked perfectly.

As long as expectations are set correctly, it’s a useful tool to have in the kitchen.

Best Sharpner for any knife especially GLOBAL knives. The angle of the sharpening wheels is specially set for the GLOBAL knives. A proper sharpening works so well that the sharpened knife becomes as good and as sharp as a new knife.

We bought the MinoSharp 3 Sharpener Black/Red to go with the new set of Global 7-piece Ikasu Knife Block Set we bought for our son for Christmas. He was delighted with the sharpener, even though he has an electric knife sharpener, because the MinoSharp is small and fits into a drawer, whereas the electric sharpener takes up a lot of space and is relegated to a storage area, not easily accessible. The MinoSharp is easy to use and keeps his Global knives razor-sharp. YES, definitely recommend the MinoSharp sharpener!
