Purchased this to make a blanket for my baby Grandson.Wool is so soft,it is such lovely wool to crochet, the colours are amazing.I would recommend this wool, the results are stunning.

Lovely yarn. I really wanted a continuous rainbow yarn. So it was a bit of a shame that in the batch I received the red seems to have bled across the other colours.

I like to crochet,and this is just so nice to work with,now about to start another blanket,well done to lion brand yarns.

Knots all way through would not buy again would be great if no knots

I didn't expect it to be so thin and I thought it would be a little different because it is advertised as baby yarn but it is a good yarn none the less. Don't expect the skein to start at red or purple , mine started at light green. The colors are great and vivid and while not as soft as expected it isn't scratchy.

Small black smudges periodically throughout yarn. Makes work look dirty. Disappointing

The yarn was beautiful and I loved the colors, but.... I was planning on weaving placemats with it and realized quite quickly that since the full spectrum of the rainbow of colors started at one end and ended at the other, that meant that the first placemat would be light green and dark green, the second one would be green blue to blue, the third would be blue to purple. I was hoping to see the full range of colors on each placemat. : /

Mandala Ombré is my favorite acrylic yarn - so soft, with such lovely drape. I was thrilled to see a new version - lighter weight #3 - which I thought would be perfect for my amigurumi project. First, it has none of the softness and squishiness of the #4 worsted version. This was surprising as it is advertised as a baby yarn. But the yarn was a nightmare to work with. First, there was a swath of glue that ran across the top of the cake. Had I known it was going to be such a problem, I would have returned it. I was constantly picking out pieces of glue throughout the layers. Second, yarn cakes are meant to be pulled from the center, and this was just one giant yarn barf. I ended up cutting apart all the colors and winding them into balls, but between the tangles and the glue, it took hours. I gave the yarn two stars for the bright, vibrant colors and also because of the good stitch definition, important for amigurumi.
