High Performance Cooler Bag (24Qt)

This cooler and Techni Ice sheets are amazing. I needed to transport frozen and fresh breast milk while driving 8 hours and everything arrived just as it was when I left home.

First, there was no "Free Techni Ice Reusable Ice Packs Included." Second, the box it was shipped in was the one used by the manufacturer to send it to the company - it was 4 times larger than needed and looked like it was kicked all the way to the house. The real problem is that the stated capacity is very misleading. There's NO way it is 5 qt. The base bag might a good size for lunch, but there's a very thick insert that looks like it would be excellent insulation, but takes up almost all of the interior space. It's barely big enough to hold a a few small containers, e.g., yogurt or fruit cups. Won't hold 2 yogurts side by side. It wouldn't hold a regular size sandwich without crushing it. Any ice pack also has to fit inside since there is no mesh at the top to hold it off the food. Completely misleading description. It does look well made and it might have worked if it was three times larger.

These cooler bags look like a purpose designed bag for keeping cold for long periods. I thought it looked smaller than 5 ltrs at first but then I realised that there was a thick removable extra insulation sleeve, in addition to the already thick walls of the cooler. They keep things cool a long time without the sleeve. But if you choose to use the extra insulation sleeve you will have less than 5 ltrs because it’s so thick. It was incredible for keeping medication.Chilled on a very long flight and had lots of pockets around the outside for cell phone, pens, sweets etc for use during flight. They work amazingly with the techniice packs. And the zip seems very strong but the colour is not very attractive. Just like our bigger techniice cooler bag they are not suitable for ice. Use techniice or gelPacks etc.
