Exactly As EXPECTED/DESCRIBED!
Inch Drop with a 2 inch ball that comes with a hitch pin and cotter pin. Welds look really nice for the price and the finish on both the ball and hitch are really well done. Assembly is required and 2 larger wrenches or slip joint pliers are needed to get it together. I was a genius and bought a used truck with a lift {rolls eyes} to be used as a fleet vehicle in my Contracting Business and haven't been able to tow with it because of the lift and not having drop hitches because when I was smart I only bought regular height trucks. So this was needed. It fits the front and rear receivers of the "new" truck and allows me to hook up utility and job trailers for road towing or moving them around the shop yard now. So now I can use my other truck for why I bought it in the first place....FOR TOWING AND MOVING STUFF. Good value, Good build, Good materials. I'd order this one again so I have no issue recommending it to others. Plus it is supposedly tested to three times the 7500 lb rating so that's a plus.

Good Ball Mount but Needs Assembly
I purchased a factory=assembled ball mount with a 1-7/8" ball years ago to tow a lightweight utility trailer. I ordered this ball mount because a 2" ball would be good to have if I ever needed to rent a larger trailer. This ball mount is just as stout and dimensionally identical to my current unit. The only apparent difference is that the wire hair pin clip that secures the hitch pin is lighter gauge steel. No biggie. From the product listing I had the impression that the 2" ball would come already attached to the mount. This is not the case as it does require assembly. The product decomposition picture shows a "factory-torqued 2" trailer ball" but the product description states: "EASY TO INSTALL: Installing this project does not require additional tools. After installing the ball mount, install the circular ring at the bottom first, and then tighten the nut. Then insert the product into the corresponding 2-inch receiver." Neither statement is entirely accurate and no instructions are provided with the product. After doing an internet search, I learned that the recommended tightening torque for a 2" ball with a 1" shank is 250 ft-lb. Luckily, I have a 250 ft-lb torque wrench and found a 1-1/2" socket originally purchased to replace a hot water heater element, so I was able to complete the assembly myself. If you don't have access to similar tools, save yourself some trouble and purchase a ball mount with a factory-installed ball instead of this item.

Heavy-Duty, Tough Trailer Hitch
This was a replacement for my husband's former trailer hitch for his golf cart turned off-road explorer when a family member borrowed his last one and lost it. This is just like the one he had before, with its tough and grand material that it is made from, it has some serious trailing power with how thick this set-up is. I love that my husband had no issues installing it onto the golf cart as it fit in perfectly. I love the way it looks, he loves that it works out so nicely for needing to tow things like our wood splitter, our wood chipper and anything else he could even being to fathom. I love that it fits in so well with his little golf cart and such a fantastic value for the purchase price!

very nice looking for a hitch
This unit is nicely painted, polished and ready to work right out of the box. Be advised that it comes with a 2 inch ball and it is NOT bolted on so be ready to do that. The torque on this nut is about 250 ft lbs so you will need a big torque wrench or big wrench to tighten this down properly. Powder coat finish is very nice on this hitch and a good pin to hold it in. 2 inch drop is really pretty standard and about right for most regular pick ups and SUVs. Excellent weld work. Good value.

solid hitch - 2x2 shaft, 2" hitch ball, 2" drop
We have an SUV with a hitch mount already installed. I ordered this to be able to tow a small trailer when needed. The 2x2 box fits perfectly in the hitch mount. It has a 2" drop to the ball base, and a 2" ball is included. Most Uhaul trailers require a 2" ball, so this will work well if we need to rent a trailer. It is heavy steel with good quality welds. Rated for 7500 lbs, but i doubt I'll ever get anywhere near that weight.

Nice hitch
Overall a nice hitch, and includes everything you need. I did assume that it might be pre-assembled, based on one of the pictures saying "factory-torqued 2" trailer ball". I am now left wondering what that means, because you do need to assemble this yourself. Not a huge deal, and the description does mention that it is not assembled. Although the description does say, "Installing this project does not require additional tools". It definitely does need tools to install the ball and properly torque the nut. Nice quality hitch and glad to see they included a hitch pin.

Great Quality Trailer Ball Mount
I ordered this product to use with my 2021 Ram 1500 Bighorn with a 2" receiver. This is a nice heavy duty ball mount with a 2" drop. It fit perfectly in my Ram's 2" OEM receiver. The 5/8" pin fit well too. As you can see in one of the pics, I replaced the hitch pin with a locking one to slow a would-be thief down. The black finish is nice, and the welds look really chunky. The 7500 lb. rating is basically aligned with the towing capacity of my 3.6L engine with 3.55 rear per Ram's specs. This is a great value trailer ball mount.
