I needed to replace the grouphead on my Breville Barista Express. I just purchased an IMS basket for my portafilter, so decided to go with IMS grouphead with also came with a new gasket. Perfect fit!

I got this for my Breville barista express. I did not notice any difference other than it squirts on the side. Yes i did use the new seal, and yes i tried it with the old seal. Didnt matter. Still squirted a stream of water on the edge. Not on the edge of the seal. I am talking about the edge of the screen where the holes are. One hole might be drilled incorrectly maybe? Not sure, but besides this annoyance i do not notice much difference in the flow of the water so i would not recommend getting one. The BBE has a bad design where the water flows from the one off center hole of the group head and this does not fix that problem.If you want to try for yourself yes it does fit the BBE and it works to hold the portafilter securely. No leaking outside the seal. It fits the stock portafilter and a different bottomless one that i got from amazon. I also have an IMS basket which i use everyday, and the seal does work with that basket.

The media could not be loaded. I replaced the factory gasket and shower screen with the Cafelat red Gasket and IMS Precision Shower Screen on my Breville Barista Express. Make sure the screen is in the groove of the gasket and you're golden. Here's a video of the installed product.

Size differs from factory and way too tight for 54mm. I tossed it in the trash.
