This product was a life saver! I needed to close the back of my watch which I could not for the life of me do with my own strength...no matter how hard I tried...but this product worked in an instant...easy to put together and very easy to use! Comes with many parts for all types of jobs with watches.

If you do your own watch repairs, like I do, you will find that a lot of watches have press on backs to the case. And this little gem rides to the rescue since they don't always come off our snap back on easily. So what do you get in the kit? Clear and easy to follow instructions The back removal tool blade is smaller than the one I had which made it even easier to remove case backs. Just follow the instructions and you'll see how easy it is to works well. You also never have to worry about battery live since. Worth the price and makes life easier. 5 stars.

Assembled easily, all parts were there even though it had obviously been returned once since the normal inner plastic cover was gone and the only thing holding the screws in place was tape. Took 2 minutes to set up and was able to press out a stubborn sapphire with ease. This is not meant to be a professional press. It is constructed and priced for the hobbyist. And for that role it performs remarkably well.

Overall, I’m happy with the JOREST Watch Press Tool Set, especially for someone like me who just wants a solid tool to take care of my everyday watches. It’s definitely not a professional-grade kit, but for the occasional DIY repair or battery change, it does the job well. I really appreciate the stability it offers during use, and the price is hard to beat. That being said, I’d be careful with more expensive or specialized watches. This tool’s strengths lie in its simplicity, but you need to be mindful of the limitations. If you’re just starting out with watch repair or you need a tool for routine maintenance, I’d recommend it—but don’t expect it to handle everything under the sun.

This is a nice little device. It works well. Once you assemble the device, there is one thing you need to know and do before using the tool. Select the correct size bottom cup for the watch face to in. Screw it into the press’s base. They supply you with a sticky clear plastic to place in between the watch face and the bottom cup to prevent the watch from moving. That’s good. You will need to find the top press cup size for the back of the watch. Here is the rub that you need to know for Great results. There is a relief or knock out on the inside back rim of the cover. It is there so the back cover doesn’t hit the crown’s rod/shaft that adjusts the time. When you place the back case cover on the watch base, you need to position the relief over the crown rod. Tape the cover in this position so it does not spin/move as the top cup presses on it. Why? This type of back sealer spins the top cup as you turn the handle. The top cup will always turn the watches case back as it is turning to compress the case back into the watch case/body. Once the case back is in proper position ( relief area of the case back over the crown shaft) and kept in place by tape, you are ready to compress the case back onto the case. I have shown you pictures to illustrate this. Use a black marker pen to highlight the relief area of the case back so you can line it up with the crown’s rod/shaft. Then tape the case back to the watch case/body.

This works great. Had 3 watches I needed to get done. Once you assemble the unit, it works so easily to get the case back on.

This works well. I love that it is compact and easily stored. It was a good value for the money. I couldn’t get some of the watch backs on without this, but after receiving this, had no issues.

After changing the batteries of two watches, with the assistance of the Jorest kit, I was unable to re-close the cases. Ordered this tool, which I received in two days. It requires a simple job of assembling the press and looks a bit flimsy , as compared to professional tools. Hence, I approached to the task of pressing the backs of the cases in the frame of the watches with a bit of concern and hesitation. Though I did not hear a snapping sound, as expected from the description, both cases closed well. with no problem and not a scratch. Just follow the instruction carefully and it appears that the work can be done safely. The tool is inexpensive and, logically, does not seem sturdy. Yet, it does what promised.

Ich habe mir die JOREST Watch Press ursprünglich gekauft, weil ich mehrere Uhren (u. a. Fossil und Esprit) öffnen und wieder sauber schließen wollte. Mit meinen bisherigen Werkzeugen war das ehrlich gesagt ziemlich mühsam – viel Kraftaufwand, rutschende Werkzeuge und am Ende oft schmerzende Finger. Mit diesem Set ist das komplett anders. Der enthaltene Uhrendeckelöffner funktioniert wirklich sehr gut. In Kombination mit der Antirutschmatte kann man die Uhr stabil positionieren und dann gezielt Druck ausüben. Das Öffnen der Gehäuse geht dadurch kontrolliert und innerhalb von Sekunden, ohne dass man abrutscht oder Gewalt anwenden muss. Auch die Presse selbst arbeitet sauber und gleichmäßig. Durch die verschiedenen Pressstempel lässt sich der Druck gut verteilen, sodass sich Deckel oder Glas präzise einpressen lassen. Besonders positiv: sehr gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis viele nützliche Werkzeuge im Set stabile Positionierung der Uhr durch Matte und Konstruktion deutlich weniger Kraftaufwand als bei einfachen Werkzeugen Ich hatte vorher mehrere günstigere Werkzeuge ausprobiert, die entweder nicht richtig funktioniert haben oder extrem anstrengend zu benutzen waren. Seit ich dieses Set habe, benutze ich die alten Werkzeuge nicht mehr und werde sie wahrscheinlich weiterverkaufen. Fazit: Für Hobby-Uhrenreparaturen (Batteriewechsel, Glas einsetzen, Gehäuse schließen) ist dieses Set wirklich eine große Hilfe. Für den Preis eine klare Empfehlung.
