Arrived from China well packaged and in good time from date of delivery. However, the unit is a PIR system and not what is in the description, a magnetic contact alarm. The unit is thinly moulded plastic about 100mm high, 700mm wide. The unit runs on a single 9v battery, not supplied. The unit can be disarmed easily so this unit should only be placed in an area for advisory unauthorised access within audible range of which the alarm volume is very loud and shrill.

Very nice small alarm with loud alarm. I had to buy another one because I forgot I had it set and when I walked by it it scared me so bad that when I found it I dropped it on the hard floor and it broke. I'm sure an intruder would have heard this and leave. For the money this is a greet little alarm.

Utter waste..not working after few days...

THIS IS ONE OF MY FAVORITE ALARMS. ONE HAS A CHOICE OF TWO SOUNDS, WHICH ARE VERY LOUD. ONE SOUNDS LIKE A CALM DOOR BELL, THE OTHER SOUNDS LIKE LOUD ANGRY SCREECHING BIRDS. PERFECT!!!!!! YOU CAN ALSO MOVE IT AROUND -- THANK GOODNESS! YOU WILL NEED A 9 VOLT BATTERY. IT IS BEST TO KEEP EXTRA BATTERIES ON HAND, BECAUSE YOU ARE NOT GOING TO WANT TO LOSE THE SERVICE OF THIS ALARM APPLIANCE. I PURCHASED TWO THIS TIME WITH PLANS TO PURCHASE MORE. I HAVE USED THIS PRODUCT BEFORE. I WAS HAPPY WITH IT THEN, AND HAPPY WITH IT NOW. THANK YOU. (P.S. YOU HAVE THE OPTION TO CARRY IT WITH YOU TO OTHER PLACES. IT IS AN EXCELLENT MOTION SENSOR WITH A GREAT SOUNDING ALARM. GREAT WHILE TRAVELING. I THINK THERE ARE SCREWS, IN CASE YOU WANT TO PUT IT IN A MORE PERMANENT PLACE IN YOUR HOME.)

Our dear family pet (dog) goes ballistic whenever someone comes to the front door. We had tried everything. I mounted the detector on a scrap of wood and attached it to an old surround sound speaker stand. I wanted to be able to move it around for best detection and to avoid false chimes. After several times of barking at the door our dog now stays clear- so far it has worked great. We are able to look out the window without triggering it-and if we need to open the door the switch can be easily turned off. We have not tried the alarm setting- but the chime is nice and loud.

THIS IS A LITTLE PRODUCT THAT PACKS A BIG PUNCH. VERY VERY LOUD. WHEN IT DETECTS MOTION, IT SCREAMS LOUDLY. WHAT I LIKE THE MOST, IS THAT IT WILL SOUND OFF FOR ABOUT A MINUTE , AND THAT TURNS OFF AND RESETS ITSELF SO YOUR NEIGHBORS WON'T COMPLAIN. I CURRENTLY HAVE FOUR ON OUR PATIO AND WILL PROBAB.Y GET TWO MORE TO COVER THE ENTRANCE DOORS. WHEN FOUR OF THEM SOUND OFF AT THE SAME TIME, I BELIEVE AN INTRUDER WILL JUST ELECT TO GO ELSEWHERE.I RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT ENTHUSIASTICALLY.
