Great looking umbrella- top notch customer service
So, it’s a lower cost offset umbrella. I had my expectations in check before it arrived. Shipped fast. No damage to box. Assembly was easy.It looks great. Has wonderful coverage and my family loves the integrated lighting.Unfortunately, the support arm bent under a light breeze on the first day. I had the umbrella locked into the lower half pretty well and didn’t expect the umbrella to twist in the breeze as it did. Umbrella hit the house and the support arm for the arced top tube bent a little. I’m going to drill into the umbrella poll to use a pin or bolt to keep the top half from moving, since we don’t need the umbrella to rotate in its base.I contacted their customer support through Amazon requesting if a replacement support arm would be available, so I could fix it myself. Unfortunately, they don’t supply parts, but fedexed a brand new umbrella to me the same week! Was going to rate the umbrella at 3 or 4 stars, but the customer service raised the bar to 5. I will purchase more products from this company in the future because of the effortless and kind customer service experience.

Really Nice Umbrella, Excellent Size
Love the size, love the cantilever style, the material is thick and the umbrella is holding up very well. The solar lights are a nice touch, too.I will list one con. I am not sure if it’s just my umbrella, but the cantilever isn’t easy to raise or lower. It requires me to pull backwards with one hand while pulling down with the other hand, but it almost always get stuck and requires me to smack it a couple of times to adjust. Again, it could just be my base, but it’s annoying. If not for this, I’d give it 5 stars instead of 4.Con aside though, we like it. It’s plenty big enough for our needs, I like the cantilever style and at least the opening/closing of the umbrella is easy (unlike adjusting the up/down of the cantilever arm). And the solar lights are a neat touch. Would purchase again, but…please make adjusting the cantilever arm up and down easier.

good bang for your buck
nice sturdy umbrella. purchased for my patio to provide shade for two chairs a bench and small table. covers most of the furniture and gives ample shade. i was able to assemble product myself quickly, directions were clear and simple. this umbrella comes with solar lights on the underside. lights are visible but not very good for providing any real ample lighting. more for show but does look pretty. easy to open and close but takes a tiny bit of getting used to opening as it hangs and opens differently than a traditional umbrella. this product does not come with the base needed to provide stability and will need to be purchased separately to use product otherwise it will fall over immediately. purchased the cream color and is as pictured in listing. overall very satisfied with my purchase.

You get what you pay for...this is a waste of $100.
When I was looking for a cantilever umbrella for my pool, I saw a lot of them selling in the $300 and up range. Being a bargain hunter, I decided to keep looking and came across this umbrella. Reviews were just below 4 stars at the time, and the price was great, so I took a chance.Let me begin by saying I live in Oklahoma. Wind is pretty much a given on most days. We consider 10 mph to be calm. More on this later. Set up of the stand was fairly simple. Now for each failure point:Base post washerRight off the bat, I notice that the base vertical pipe that the umbrella stand slides into has a cheap plastic washer meant to hold some pins in place so the umbrella won't shear in the wind. Without this piece of plastic, the pole can rotate the full width of the pin in both horizontal directions. The washer is broke. It will stay in place, but it does not lock in the pins now. I figure it's not a huge deal and move on. I finish setting up the base, adding base weights, erect the umbrella into the stand, and start to crank it open.Umbrella Rib Spoke and StopperWhile I was looking at the crank, apparently a piece of plastic drops out of the umbrella and is floating in my pool. The umbrella is "deployed" with a crank that winds a cable (more like string) that runs through the umbrella down through the spoke that connects all the ribs, to a cheap plastic stopper that is meant to slide into the spoke. The higher the spoke is pulled, the more the umbrella deploys. This stopper had a thin lip circumventing it that was the only thing keeping it from pulling through the spoke. Half of that lip had broken off (I didn't realize it at the time as it was flush with the spoke. The next day, we deploy the umbrella with winds around 10 mph, and the whole thing is flailing around like we're in a typhoon. Suddenly, there's a pop, and the umbrella collapses. The rest of the lip had given way. Being handy and not wanting to deal with returning a giant umbrella, I cobble together a fix using chain clip that prevents the stopper from pulling through the spoke. Looks janky, but still better than processing a return.Cantilever Arm SleeveIf you look in the photo, you'll notice a crank that attaches to a 45 degree angled arm that attaches to the main pole. This arm is locked into place when extended by a - wait for it - cheap plastic sleeve. On the third use of the umbrella, again in low winds, the sleeve split length-wise, so the arm won't lock in place. Queue me grabbing my bag of 3/8" wide zip ties. After "bandaging" the sleeve with five of those suckers, the sleeve is functional, and my umbrella is starting to look like something out of a Dr. Suess book.So we have three failures of parts, all involving plastic in spots that really should have been, at the very least, aluminum. Now I'm getting nervous while I'm watching the 10 mph wind whip this thing around, because the whole thing is shearing at the top where the main umbrella arm is attached to the top of the pole, and - surprise - that whole assembly is made of more of that crappy plastic. Oh, and so is the crank housing and most of the assembly that the umbrella hangs from at the end of the main arm. At this point, I've resigned myself to the fact that the only time I'll be able to use this is if either a) it's dead calm or b) I move it indoors. Will likely have to box the sucker up and send it back...which is sad, considering I gave it multiple chances.Pros:At least the solar-powered LED lights work.Cons: absolutely cheap plastic parts used in high stress areas of the pole and cranking mechanism. Whole thing thrashes about in a slight breeze, and would be in the next county if an actual gust of wind blew up.Conclusion: avoid this like the plague. Spend the extra $200 and buy some piece of mind.

Sturdy with recommended base
Purchased this item with the recommended base. Set it up in my back yard on a “mostly level” surface. Enjoyed it for one sunny day, then my area just kept getting hit with storm after storm. My neighbor’s pergola collapsed, fences knocked down, and large amounts of wind damage throughout my city (and neighboring cities). I had completely forgotten that I had the umbrella outside, so it was out there for the storms. It held up very nicely. It didn’t topple over and it didn’t get damaged. I don’t recommend leaving this out during a major storm, but I am very happy that it made it through, and very happy it didn’t cause any damage to my home, or to my neighbors.Very stable with a ton of shade coverage. It’s not very easy to move around once the base is setup, so choose its position wisely so that you get the best use out of the shade.

Missing pieces but prompt resolution 😁
The original order was delivered when expected. However was missing the Solar panel to power the lights. Upon contacting the seller they promptly tried to get me one through their distributer but where in unable. So instead they told me they would ship me a whole new one free of charge if I was willing to wait until July. I said of course I can wait. Well I have to say. July came and I recieved it very early on and it was fully intacted and operational. It was a bit of a rough start but I have to say I am a fully satisfied customer. I feel the seller went above and beyond to make this unfortunate accident right. Thank you very much. Would buy from again.
