I slept with a vellux blanket at my gramas when I was little, & it was the best blanket I ever felt. Got one & have used them my entire life, & am now in my 60’s. Had one that my kitty left a lot of holes in & now that he passed, I got me a new one, in the creamy color that just makes it look oh so much softer. I will never use anything else. I’m so glad I can still buy them, otherwise I would have held onto the old ragged one. Thank you for the bestest blanky ever. Yay!!

The Vellux orginal is the only blanket I use. It's sturdy but soft and lightweight but warm. It feels so good that I don't even use a topsheet under it. I love the way it feels against my skin. And, the real bonus is that the more you wash it the softer it gets. My only complaint is that it is not offered in WHITE. Please correct this so I can buy a couple more of these magnificent blankets.

I’ve been buying the original Vellux blankets for years. They are so luxurious and soft. The tan color is so pretty. They wash beautifully and dry so quickly in your dryer. This is my favorite blanket.

These are hard to find these days and I love them. I got the ivory thinking it would be white. No, it is a cream color. But the best of quality.

I liked the size and color of this blanket. The weight is midweight and the feel of the material is velvet like and soft. This blanket is well constructed and would make a good addition to a bed year round.

Great blanket

I’ve been looking for a blanket that would help me sleep well this is it exactly what I wanted. I’m so happy with this blanket it’s comfortable lightweight and keeps me warm and it stays on my bed no slipping. I don’t like to write reviews, but this was worth it. Well worth the money highly recommend.

nice and soft and warm

This is a great blanket, light weight for people who don't like heavy blankets or comforters, but very warm in winter. Recommend washing before use, to eliminate stiffness and alight odour.
