I've drilled Moonstone, which is freakin hard, it's like a tough quartz material. I have polished moonstone from the rough, Labradorite, Turquoise and Magnesite with these wheels and they're nicely labeled and colored. The thing you need to remember is that they will leave tracks in the rock if you don't keep moving the stone or the sander around. So make sure that you are watching what you are doing and moving the stone around a lot. All good, easy to clean if you even need to clean them. Nothing gets stuck and powder doesn't build up

These pads do exactly what they are supposed to. I was able to polish the unfinished side of a marble threshold to use as a shelf in my shower very easily. I took my time and went through the steps using each pad and getting progressively finer. By the end I had a nicely polished surface that was very close in appearance to the factory polished side of the marble. Take your time and you will be rewarded with the final outcome!

So, you want to honor free masonry or just need to get a spit shine on some counter tops? These have performed well. Reliable performance when used wet or dry. They are intended for wet work by default. Sturdy hook and loop backings don’t come loose. They can handle loads of tool torque.One thing to bear in mind is the color scheme which identifies the abrasive grit step for each disk. After using these wet, the stamped numeric value on the back of each disc becomes obscured over time. The steps in no way correspond to the same value in sand paper discs as these are much finer suitable for polishing rather than bulk material removal.

Works nicely for sanding concrete table. However, the Velcro backing did not hold up with long term use. Once the backing is gone, the pad is useless. Other than that, they are very good polishing pads and Doo a good job with wet sanding

To shine up my marble floor.it cleaned it well.but I didn't get the shine I wanted

I can't complain because the write up doesn't state that the disks come without the mounting pad (not sure of the technical name), but I would have expected a 7 step set to include the "do-hickey" to attach the pads to my grinder.This is neither the first nor the last time I will learn this lesson.

I was a bit worried that these wouldn’t work because they were so inexpensive but they worked so well.

One of my pads was a bit warped but they work as advertised. The box you get is random but the pads match the listing picture.
