Love this Talon foot pedal
I have 2 talons on the back of my bass boat and was initially using the remote to control them but I got tired of having to keep it hanging around my neck or having it in my pocket so I picked up this foot remote, wished I had gotten it sooner.It was easy to install, pair and I was up and running in under 30 minutes.I have the same functionality that I do with the hand held remote without ever having to put my pole down.

One problem ,but works great!
The Foot Unit Works Great! As mentioned by other reviewers, it was difficult to link to the Talons. Had to clear all previously linked remotes, Update Software on talons And on remotes, and then add the foot pedal unit and then relink everything. (I believe that the problem with linking was due to the Talons, not the new unit, as I was unable to connect to the Talons even with my cell phone. ALL problems cleared up once I cleared memory and updated software. I suggest that if there is Any problem linking, this, or any new remote units, Clear and Update First!) Having said that, the Foot Unit works great! As others have said, the foot peddle may work better than the key fob that you hang around your neck. This may have been due to the software update or to the unit, but whatever the reason, I Love being able to lower (and raise) the Talons with my feet while playing a fish. No more losing fish as I fumble with the fob with one hand while trying to play a fish with the other hand.

Very easy to install and use
Love this product. We purchased a new boat and had to get another one of these because we missed having it! Poles go down with ease while fishing the front deck without having to fumble for the lanyard remote. Easy to install too!
