A: Yes: composition metrics require bare feet on the platform and both hands gripping the handle; standing still with arms slightly away from your body gives the most consistent readings.

**Q: Why did I get different numbers on two measurements?**
A: Hydration and skin contact change bio-impedance, so readings vary. Measure at the same time daily, keep your profile accurate, pick athlete or normal mode, and keep hands/feet in contact (dry skin: lotion first). Small variation is normal.
