Gardening Akadama Soil - Cactus, Bonsai, Succulent Soil Additives Landscaping Vase Fillings (1/4 inch, 10 QT)

I like to make my own succulent soils and this fantastic volcanic gravel is a perfect addition because the drainage is so good. Seriously, succulents love this stuff! This massive box is such a good deal, there is so much akadama in it, 11lbs of gravel! I think this is absolutely great and my succulents love it, either mixing it into the soil or using it to keep their leaves off of the soil.

I've never used, nor even seen in real life, akadama soil. Nothing that arrived with this order indicates its provenance nor the company supplying it. I guess I'll try it with some plants that like dry-ish conditions and see what happens. What I received looks like what's in the pictures.

I just started a bonsai tree, several actually. And while the kit came with everything you need to start it, it did not come with the soil needed for the transplant. This is exactly what I needed, mixed with a few different things, it is perfect for my bonsai to grow now.
