No issues in either Windows 7 or Linux
I opted to load the included software driver package in Windows 7 as I've never really been too satisfied with the built in offering from Microsoft. The installation was uneventful, as it should be, and the software seems to be running error free. I easily disabled several of the Bluetooth profiles that I don't use and paired up my mouse, keyboard, speakers, phone, and tablet in no time.On the Linux side I was setting up a Sony laptop that isn't too old, but for some reason does not have a built in Bluetooth adapter. The adapter sticks out just a little bit more than I'd like as the USB port is a little too shallow to allow the semi-circle to sit flush with the side of the laptop. But seeing that this laptop will be used as a desktop with an integrated UPS rather than being toted around, it should be a concern in this case. There really isn't too much to say about the install. Linux Mint 16 is installed on the laptop and within about a second of plugging in the adapter, the little Bluetooth icon appeared in the notification area. A couple seconds after that I had the mouse paired up and running. Can't really beat the price, the size and shape are nice, from what I can see all of the latest profiles are supported (at least in the hardware, your OS may or may not). I may pick up another of these just to keep in my little bag of misc stuff I keep in my backpack.

After loading the software and inserting the adapter. it initially worked on the first day. After a reboot on the next day, new drivers from the company loaded replacing the Microsoft drivers and the device would not start. Three of the drivers failed to properly load. I tried on another computer only to experience exactly the same problem. I have two Windows 7 64bit machines and even after trying to purge my machine of the software, the plug never again started. Seems to be a driver and software problem and looking at several others that use this software, it is an ongoing problem.

Transfer files from Linux
Seems to work fine with Mint Linux. I had to install an other program to take advantage of it. I use it primarily for transferring files from my phone.

Was a little stubborn in getting itself to load the proper driver but with a little fiddling and deleting the ms drivers it kept wanting to install. It finally installed its correct drivers and off to the races we went. It is working perfectly and connecting to my blue tooth products effortlessly!Just thought I would let you know how well your product worked. I had previously purchased one for a net-book that I had purchased as my media player. It has worked excellent. (see above review) I bought this one for my print server that is running on Linux Mint Debian. I plugged it in and it instantly was working. I can now print from my Apple products via blue tooth when in range, with out air print. The family is extremely happy! This product works with both Windows7 and Linux Mint with absolutely no problems.

Works great so far
A good value, but the documentation could be better (there's none). Load the drivers first from the mini CD hidden away in the packaging. You may want to copy the CD to a temporary folder on your hard drive, since it takes forever directly from the CD and you can't tell if something's going wrong. Once the drivers are installed you just plug in the adapter and let your machine load up the drivers, and away you go. Works fine with Kinivo BTH240 bluetooth headphones.

Works very well and supports apt-x
This worked right out of the box. While I had to find a computer with a cdrom to copy the drivers, the CSR bluetooth software it came with worked great. In the future, I hope they can provide an FTP server instead. The curved design makes it easy to leave in without worrying about it catching on my laptop bag.I will update my review if I run into any major problems,
