This kit was awesome! You just attach each link together and it attaches to your drill like a drill bit… It was incredibly easy to clean my own dryer vent! This also comes with an attachment for your vacuum and in doing so allows you to really clean the dryer itself well… its a very easy to use, great value product that will save you loads of time waiting on someone, and money because it really is so easy to do

I had a older set by a different vendor and it did not flex well around corners. This product flexes around bends very well (you just have to keep it spinning when pushing).Only issue I really had was that I tried to add several push rods at first and it flexed too much and I had to feed 2 at a time. This just makes it slower to clean. But I ran a inspection scope through after cleaning out and it did an excellent job cleaning my vent pipe out. I had 2 90deg turns and it went through both without issues. about 25' of total pipes.

This was a bit time consuming to assemble but considering the length its understandable. This arrives unassembled in a compact case. You must screw together each section up to the length you need. I used all of them. You must tighten each section until the gap is closed, then you need to apply a piece of electrical tape on each section to aid it in staying connected, including the drill adaptor. Then just add the brush head at one end and the drill at the other. If you have a long run then this is a two person job. One person handles the drill at one end, the other feeds the brush into the vent. Start the drill and then feed the brush into the vent slowly. Take your time and it works great. I didn’t think of taking a picture but I had about an inch of lint buildup on my vent from over 25 years and after it was ALL gone. (To the right)It’s not a drill head but a brush so start the drill slowly. No need for high speed. Medium is good enoughDon’t push the assembly in using the drill, push it in by hand at the vent opening.Finally, keep the brush assembly shaft straight or at the most a gentle curve if needed due to room restrictions.If you do this, you won’t bend or break the shaft, you won’t fray the brush and the sections will not come apart. Take your time and you will be happy with the results. It does a great job.One note: I had a 6ft section of flexible vent which already had a tear in it so I replaced that, but it had a 90’ curve on it passing through the floor. I don’t think the brush assembly would have made It through that bend so you may want to pull that section if you have it and lessen the curve on it before brushing.

An unclogged vent hose keeps your dryer working at peak performance. Using this tool once every 3 months will keep it clean! Works great and easy to use!

This is awesome. To have the flexibility to clean many areas. Was able to clean my furnace, air conditioner, car vents, and most important the clothes dryer vent. Works wonderfully

Cleaned both mine and mom’s dryer vents-Worked great, not at all flimsy! SO MUCH fuzz came out! Hers was really blocked, and a ton of heavy damp lint came out! Now takes a third of the old drying time! 60 yo female, no trouble at all to use!

My experience - the brush was poorly packaged and deformed, the poles were excessively protected (caps on both ends on every pole). The poles were really hard to disassemble due to design (made adding/removing poles as I went difficult), and struggling with the difficult design made a mess as I tried to wrangle 20 feet of dusty brush in a small room. I had a shopvac providing a draft flowing toward the outside of the house (blowing or vacuuming, depending on which end of the pipe I was at) so other than while trying to assemble/disassemble the product we had very little dust kicked up in to the room.I couldn’t have cleaned the duct without this tool, but yet, several small (but impacting) issues cause this product to fall drastically from 5 to 3 stars.The good: Once I figured out all of this products design/usability issues I was able to clean a ~20ft vent successfully and had a routine figure out to quickly add/remove poles.The bad: 1) the packaging is poor - it shipped in a flat packed envelope, which is ok for the poles, but the brush ended up deformed - bent up on one side and smashed together flat on the other 2) the poles need a flat edge where they connect - when adding/removing poles it was very difficult to unscrew two poles which have been tightened by rotating inside a pipe. It doesn’t take much to unscrew them, but they get just tight enough that disassembly can’t be done easily by hand (in part due to no flat edges). After ending up with a mess trying to disassemble stuck poles, I ended up grabbing a vice grip wrench and pliers to twist the poles apart which took very little effort and made the job much easier. 3) the poles shipped with white rubber caps on both ends of the poles, its annoying to need to remove a pile of caps, especially when the brush was packed so poorly. I question why the metal ends were protected so well while the brush wasn’t even placed in a cardboard box to avoid damage 4) the poles were firm enough to get the job done, and our duct is straigh after the first foot - but the poles struggled to enter the pipe and take that initial 90 degree bend. Rotating while inserting helped, but if there was more than one turn or an unusual duct setup this tool might struggle more.

Works great. Cleaned out dryer vent, in dryer, back of dryer, vent that leads to the outside. Got so much lint out of these areas. The nozzle did not fit on our vacuum, so we attached it to the shop vac. This kit needs an adapter to make that connection, it would be a better product with that.

This will prove to be an invaluable tool for making sure my dryer is free from lint build-up. This kit is well worth the money and easy to use. It even came with a laundry bag for lingerie or other items. The extensions for cleaning the hose from outside are going to be great and it's nice to have a storage bag for all the parts.

Interesting kit, with lots of possibilities, especially for the price. This is not heavy duty, so be gentle and it may get your job done. Tried it today on a straight 15' dryer vent pipe. If you turn slowly (clockwise only), you wont over tighten the joints, or likely break anything. Otherwise you may need 2 pair of pliers to take rods/bit apart. The vent was slightly egg shaped, and where bulged, the brush missed some material. I had to jury rig the central vac to the blue adapter to the black pipe end, so was holding both the vacuum and the drill/rods, not the best. (Could have duct taped vcacuum). I am considering cleaning some of my heat ducts at home, and may have to adapt the set, and make up a duct template for the rods/central vac to set in without holding both. I have also seen a compressed air "whip" on youtube that I may need in the big horizontal runs. Satisfied, especially at price. Bought a much heavier unit for my chimney (similar technology) and it is way better than 32' ladders!

After reading quite a few comments, sharing their experiences, I practiced some of the recommendation, used the plastic wrap to wrap all the joints, it went deep into the duct along the way, and was stuck in somewhere in the middle, ( the total lenght of my duct to the outlet is about 25 feet). I was so worried that it might break or loosen joints that the brush head would then stay there and never be taken out. . . . as I read a comment that suggested never use reverse function. . . I had no choice but use the reverse function, very very slowly. . . it works, it was loosened, slowly, I reserved it back out. then I went to the outlet of the dryer drain outside the house, and cleaned the other remaining duct. Now it is working very good. We did not have a lot of garbage moved out but good enoug to clear out the whole duct and get the clothes "smelless" as before. Moreover, I can loosen the joints quite easily by holding the joints with two pliers twisting them loose for storage. we will do the clean up once a year with this tool. Highly recommend.

I bought a 50 year old house and my new dryer gave an error message indicating a 95% reduction in air flow. This kit has almost everything you need, they even supply tape to reinforce the connectors for the rods that connect to the reaming brush. My duct is 14 feet long. The clog was so dense the brush couldn’t advance, I took the remaining rods and taped a hook to the tip and broke through the blockage manually and fished out the lint and then I used the brush to finish the cleaning. Worked great, the rods held up great to the twisting from the drill. I recommend guaranteeing a clear path before you place the brush, or else you might just pack the lint. Very useful kit.
