Fin Fun Fantasy Mermaid Tail for Girls and Boys, Monofin for Swimming Included

It had holes on the first use! Not durable

Our 6 year old daughter loves to swim and might be part fish. I held off on ordering last summer, unsure of quality and sizing. I ordered her a small according to the size chart and my only regret is not ordering sooner! High quality. Fits great with room to grow. She is elated and said it looks even better in real life. Which, she pointed out, is rare because normally the pictures look better online. But not this time! She asked if it probably came from China 😂❤️🤍💙and I was pleased to read her the story of the grandma who started making these for her granddaughter and that their family owned business in Idaho is continuing to grow. We are so pleased, Mom might get one too 😁

My daughter loves this. It was sized correctly, and seems to be made well. The hard tail “monofin” is removable. This does take some practice to use. And is not easy to get around when you’re outside of the water, so be careful. My daughter kind of hopped around but finally resorted to sitting down and kind of scooting.

My daughter is obsessed with mermaids and pretending to be one. We ordered this tail for her and it's been a huge success in her eyes. My only problem is that the tail had lots of holes in it after just one time in the pool. I don't know if she was too rough with it or if it's the quality. In any case, she still loves her tail. I wish it didn't get little holes after one use.*Edited to Add: The business contacted me and made this right! The tail still has holes in it that have gotten a bit bigger with continued use, but my daughter is still happy with her tail. I'm happy because the business reached out to me and made this right in my eyes. So, I've upped this to 4 stars.*

Super cute to go along with the skirt and top to really be a mermaid! Plus it is a good work out for the girls, LOL.

The tail is great. My granddaughter loves it.Child should be careful swimming in deep water while wearing the tail.

Ok we have had the FinFun mermaid tails for years and absolutely love them. We have the S/M and my size 3 shoe child was struggling to get her feet into the S/M. So, I figured I’d order the next size up- L/XL. Sizing is super misleading because the actual monofin is the same in both sizes- actually our L/XL monofin has less surface area. Your feet go through to a wide open fin, so it actually doesn’t matter if your feet grow. The tail is much longer and larger in the L/XL- but they stretch so good she has no problem with the tail size of the S/M.Long story short- what we really need is a larger monofin OR a larger foot opening in the monofin as children grow. Sizing up does not help.

My daughter begged for one of these and when she finally got comfortable enough swimming we got one for her as a prize. It’s super cute. A bit of a learning curve on how to get into it and how to swim with it but she mastered it pretty quickly. She’s 6. She absolutely loves it and a bunch of her friends have them and it’s really cute to see them all play mermaids.My gripe is that it already has holes and is nubby, as shown in the photos. We use it at a chlorine pool and she has worn in between 7-10 days. We have had it a little over a month. Honestly after the first use it was already showing pretty severe wear and tear. For the price we paid that seems kind of unacceptable.

Great company. I’m glad to see it on Amazon as direct from Fin Fun is so expensive for shipping. Would like to see the adult sizes here too. Best tails and fins. They are long lasting. Your mermaid will love it.

Overall quality seems really good. It was a bit expensive but we went with it because the reviews were good. My daughter is very happy so I guess it’s well worth it.

Mom and uncle also fit are feet into it... seems pretty durable. If you hop around on land thr fabric will start to wear
