Ingredients

Ingredients for 4 people: Cirio Cannellini beans, Cirio Peeled plum tomatoes, olive oil, sage leaves, garlic, salt, pepper.

Preparation

Heat a good swirl of olive oil in a pan and add the garlic and sage leaves. Fry a little and just as the garlic begins to brown, add the tomatoes and cook on a low heat for 10 minutes. Then drain and add the beans, cooking for a further 20 minutes or until the sauce has reduced considerably to coat the beans in a thick sauce. Take care to ensure the beans are tender but not mushy.
Serve dressed with a drizzle of olive oil swirled on top.
