For me personally I give them a 5. If your chairs are heavily patterned, then that pattern may show through. Otherwise fantastic! They are stretchy, form fitting, soft and best of all, when the grandkids are around they easily go from washer to dryer.

These covers are fantastic! They are not all sewn symmetrical but since they are stretch you really can't tell once they are on the chair. They look just as gorgeous as the picture and the colors are vibrant but not overpowering. One thing I did not like about these covers is you can see through them (especially in the portions of the material with white). This is not necessarily a defect, I was covering bright red fabric chairs so my base material was a little loud in the first place but in my case I will need to double cover the chair so the red does not show through--just something to consider if you are in the same situation.

I put these over my IKEA HENRIKSDAL chairs. They are a much cheaper alternative than the covers that are made for them. Looks nice. I did however have to over stretch them quite a bit to fit the chair.

I do really like these, they seem to stay in place when the chairs are being used and really mage my old worn out chairs look amazing. The things I didn’t love, they were tight to get on and almost ripped at the seams in multiple different areas, but once on it is not at all noticeable. Also I thought the colors in the pics were very different then what I received. I thought they would be significantly darker but they still work ok for my dining room.

Pretty thin jersey material. If stretched too quickly, the seams will break (happened to the first 2 we tried to put on).Additionally, DOES NOT FIT Ikea Henrikdal chairs very well (especially if you cannot stretch them much).

I got pattern 19. It does feel like swimsuit material. I haven't tried to put it on a chair yet, so can't comment on the fit yet. Arrived from China squished tight in a small, silver, plastic bag. I thought it had turquoise in the pattern, but looks a lil more like mint. Also, I knew the background is not white, but thought it was ivory rather than the light yellow it actually is. Otherwise, all other colors aree true to the picture. Just disappointed the most with the yellow background.

Had never tried these covers before but had some old chairs that needed a makeover. I was pleasantly surprised of how nice they look! Easy to put on and they fit nicely. My once dining room chair looked like a nice accent chair. I just ordered a second one I like them so much!

I have four (bonded leather?) bar stools that have seen better days, but since I was not ready to purchase new chairs I thought I might try an intermediate solution. The chair covers arrived today, so here are my immediate thoughts.The fabric is very stretchy (as advertised) and has a nice soft feel. Despite the softness of the fabric, the covers fit snugly enough that you don't slide around when sitting. My only (nitpicking?) complaint (and the only reason I didn't rate 5 stars) is the bunching on the back of the chair (2nd photo). I don't think it looks terrible when I put all four together (third photo); in fact, I kind of like the "ruched" look. Bottom line: These are a really nice look for beat up chairs for less than $40.00...can't go wrong with that!
