This saved me $1800.00! Replacing this solenoid was the exact thing I needed after the car sat for a couple of years. I did notice a teeny tiny bit of rust colored sludge on the solenoid I pulled out the the compressor, but a $2100.00 bill was more than I was willing to pay for a complete replacement. My local VW dealership was able to recharge the system and they did not note any other parts needed to be replaced.

After putting this my acc worked out percent again and is pretty cheap also no leak on the valve connection. This product is an easy one to put fit just like the old one .

Did not fit. Please check your compressor model before ordering
Does not fit my 2006 Jetta, no matter how confidently the seller says it does. Please check your exact model of compressor before ordering. Mine is a PXE16, a very common compressor for that era VW.
