Sew Kind of Wonderful QCR Mini Ruler, Acrylic, Original Version

Delivery was very prompt & traceable throughout journey from US. Thank you for that! I wasn't sure what to expect as I ordered the 'mini' version of the ruler, but I was pleased to receive a good quality, solid instrument. This QCR 'mini' ruler measures 8 x 5 inches, has a clear measurement gauge & the cardboard backing on the ruler prevents 'slip n' slide' when cutting. I appreciated the instruction leaflet that comes with it too. It provides a very clear & detailed guide to using your ruler for the first time & saves time on U tube! On using the ruler, I was very pleased with the precise, no messing, shapes instantly provided. A time saver for quilters! From my recent experience, use a new blade in your cutter, line up your ruler exactly, & don't apply 'unnecessary' pressure when cutting - you'll avoid chipping your ruler. I've only cut 3 layers of fat quarter at one time so far, but it was fine. Pricewise...little bit expensive, but overall good quality tool for the quilter & could also be used for applique shapes. I like it.

Perhaps some instruction on the possible pitfalls when cutting out. It can be harder to match things if you haven't exactly followed the instructions.I like that everything is neatly lined up. It is a well thought out system and I will be using it again. I bought the book to go with it!The runner shown above is free pattern that came with the ruler.
