Well made, strong enough for the job without the worry of breakages.These stack really nicely, which each tray having 4 evenly spaced pegs that locate into the tray below, which stops any sliding around when in place.Obviously geared up for home chicken-farmers, the quantity here allows for 30 eggs per tray... a total of 240!.Now, I (or the rest of the family) don't get through that many eggs where I need to stack them in such quantities.I DO however usually buy 2 or 3 different variants when shopping (size, quality etc) which means several cardboard boxes stacked on top of each other which is a bit of a pain getting to the ones you want.With just one of these trays, the eggs can be sorted and placed (and even dated) accordingly, making it far easier to get at the stuff without having to faff around. The fact that air circulation is far better than leaving them in their cartons is also a bonus.The quantity here may be more than you need for home use, but as soon as friends and family know you've got some 'spare', they'll disappear very quickly!.Good quality stuff, and on a value-for-money basis... 5-Stars.

it is very good for holding eggs and for storage

Got these to store the eggs from our rescue battery hens.Plastic is sturdy so absolutely beats the old egg boxes we used to use. Stack neatly even when filled with varying sizes of eggs the girls lay.Nice and quick to rinse off too if they get straw and/or muck on them while in the hen house.

These are strong (you do need to hold them with both hands if they are full of eggs). They hold a lot of eggs and don't take up much space. They're a huge space saver because they can stack vertically. I got these due to the fluctuating price of eggs. So, when eggs are on sale, I buy a lot to tide me over while the price is high. This way, I can take the eggs out of their cartons, stack them in these egg crates, and then stack the crates. This is a significant space saver in the refrigerator. Once our chickens start laying eggs, we will use these to collect them.

Fantastic plastic egg trays. Easy to clean, reusable and suitable for most sizes of eggs. Very useful for those who own birds for egg laying on allotments etc. Happy to recommend.

I’m really impressed with these trays. If you have chickens, they’re ideal for collecting and storing eggs in larger quantities. I keep eggs in a cupboard and this tray fits neatly onto a shelf and holds as many eggs as I’m likely to use in a week or so. The trays are well made, nicely moulded and the egg nestles comfortably in the hole. You get a total of 8 and they should last for years, making them an economic investment. Outstanding value and highly recommended.
